Asari Councilor: "Thank you, Commander Shepard, for saving us and the galaxy from Saren and the Reapers"
Actually, I believe she says "Saren and Sovereign" though that is probably just a nit.

She says: You saved not just our lives, but the lives of billions from Sovereign and the Reapers.

Yeah, I just checked and first she mentions "Sovereign and the Geth," then she says "Sovereign and the Reapers."
"Commander, there are people trying to kill you!"
"I think she knows that."
"No, other people, new people!"

My bad. Memoriy's not what it used to be ![]()
"You mean Asari can reproduce with each other? Wow! Dat Science!"
The refuse monologue.
The refuse monologue.
Refuse monologue was awesome.
What followed was pure trolling though.
Okay, then
"SO BE IT!!! The cycle continues"
This after admitting to Shepard the cycles no longer work, admits to being the controlling intelligence of the Reapers and is so advanced that it is an AI "in as much as you are just an animal" But hey, no time to parlay or work with the organics to find a solution. Pick a color or the galaxy dies!
Then Shepard proves he's an idiot:
Shepard: "No. I'm going to end this war on my terms."
Catalyst: : "Then you will die knowing you have failed to save everything you have fought for."
Shepard: "I fight for freedom: mine and everyone's. I fight for the right to choose our own fate. And if I die, I'll die knowing I did everything I could to stop you. And I'll die free."
Yeah, except for using the super weapon you told everyone to pour their resources into, LOL!

I agree with Iakus. I so much wanted to tell the Artificial Stupidity that it was a moron and the refuse speech does that.

It does, with predictable results.
The Horizon exchange with the VS hasn't come up yet?

Too long to quote properly

I'd rather re-read your comment about Shepard not properly explaining the situation to the VS and them not rejoining the crew, anyway.

Shepard has rendered it obsolete. If Shepard is too much of a moron to choose a better solution then the Catalyst has no other choice but to continue with the cycle.

Yeah but it's not as absurd as what we actually got.
The Horizon exchange with the VS hasn't come up yet?
"There were rumors you were alive and working for Cerberus."
Rumors? Don't you follow the news? Shepard did an interview with Khalisa, met with Anderson, paraded around the Citadel and Omega, and all you have heard are rumors? How out of the loop are you people on this planet?

Ya, it was really bad decision on TIM's part giving the SR-2 the exact same appearance as a a very unique looking and famous ship, then emblazon it with the Cerberus colors and emblem.

I understand the desire to really tell the Catalyst off, but let's face it: it wouldn't care anyway. It's an ancient machine that has been wiping out civilizations left and right for millions of years with seemingly nary a care in the world. What could anyone possibly say to it that would have an effect on it? Sure, it might be cathartic to say "Shove it, glowstick, it's time to say goodnight" or some gobbledegook about freedom (which is funny since Shepard is merely free to die pointlessly after that), but who cares when you can just kill the thing and get it over with?
It's like the clan Weyrloc spokesperson babbling on about taking over the galaxy in a river of blood and eating salarian eggs. Nuts to all that babble and nonsense. I just set him on fire, partly because it's funny, but mostly because there's no point in letting the rant continue.
Leviathan talking to Shep: "today they [Reapers] pay their tribute in blood"
Huhh? Reapers bleed?
How did the Cerberus Normandy dock on the Citadel without any problems?
Suddenly, the tolerate Cerberus presence...
So in the next game, can we customize our ship? ![]()
