If memory serves, the only sources of credits that are actually located in people's apartments are the batarian's safe and the safe in the apartment where the couple is hiding from the mercs. Other than that, the only other source of credits are terminals you have to hack in the hallways, a shady gambling machine and medkits. There is another apartment with two turians, but the only thing in there is an audio log of one turian's account of his and his friend's suffering through the plague.

Thread title: The most ABSURD statements in the game series.BioWare: *dismissive condescending rubbish* artistic integrity *patronizing PR spins*
Your post: trolling about BioWare PR.
Fans like yourself are the reason why BW has been increasingly avoiding the fanbase, and why they are right to. You are not contributing any constructive, worthwhile criticism, nor are you trying to, and you blame your behavior on BW because you can't take responsibility for your actions like any mature adult could do.
BW is in no way required to take crap from fans who refuse to approach them in a civil manner and take a first-world problem such as video game endings way too seriously, crying bloody murder when they're not catered to.
One bad apple spoils the bunch. There are lots of bad apples here.

That's what I thought. There should have been some loot in that apartment though.
shep: Stop looting or I'll hunt you down and... is that a weapon mod? *yoink*
I'd only really prefer being able to loot stuff like that if companions can actually comment on it, like "Really, Commander?" or something like that. It would be a little amusing, at least.

Eh, the thing is, BW really wasn't as forthcoming as they could have been either. I see what you're saying, but I don't think it's all because of the fans. They did hole themselves up pretty well.

I don't recall anything of use from the apartment. I usually avoid the apartment and continue onward to reach Mordin's clinic.

Fans were also irrationally angry from the start. We can have a "chicken or egg" debate over that, but at the end of the day, you're only responsible for your own actions.
I know who you are, BTW. The HBI does work. It's okay though, I won't tell!

I figured. It's a clown mask of sorts.
That goes for BW as well. They did have the opportunity to come out and have a rational discourse on what they were going for, and how they interpret their game. They decided not to do so and instead of answering some questions, they decided to maintain silence. I'm not going to say further on it.

My thought was that Shepard's renegade response should have been: "give me a cut and I won't shoot you."
That would have fit in with the ME1 renegade theme of accepting bribes left and right.

Random comments from the crew would have been cool, and a good reason not to recruit Mordin right away.

Agreed, nothing major... just some credits, maybe some medi-gel, stuff like that. I still explore everything anyway. Gamer OCD can be a burden at times.

I like this idea. But you know what they say, "never go full renegade."

There is also the credits from the dead batarian in the starting area. I wasn't quite quick enough with the medigel, oh well.
There is another line I remember from mass effect 1.
Shepards objection to being tagged for the spectres without her say so and Anderson's response.
"This isn't about you Shepard, humanity needs this. We're counting on you" Anderson should think this through, a renegade spectre who didn't want to be a spectre running around the galaxy answering to no one. This is a very good idea.

Though most of the safes and other sources of credits were out in open corridors, the most blatantly obvious one that makes Shepard look like a hypocrite is the safe that's located in the room of a dead batarian that died in his bed. Of course, one I thought was a bit funny was the safe you can empty in the apartment with the couple that you can convince to go to Mordin's clinic. It's not looting from the dead, but I like how Shepard can just waltz in and take their medi-gel and money and then walk out.
It's a Batarian. Then there's one outside blaming you for the plague. If you don't give him medi-gel, you can loot 2000 CR from his corpse.
And stop the looters in the apartment? You mean you do that? Someone has to hire a cleaning service. Might as well be a human cleaning service, right?
You're working for Cerberus. Act like it.

TIM: You can always put in a requisition order.
Joker: My ship is a SR-2. Its seats have tiny mass effect fields that massage the buttocks. It costs six billion credits.
TIM: Okay... yeah... you're on your own with that.
Miranda: *ahem* It's for Project Lazarus.
TIM: What? Dammit. *pulls out checkbook*
Joker: ... and the seats are leather.
TIM: Get out!

The things paragon players miss out on for warm fuzzies. lol. Morality boosts? This is ME2. Who cares about that stuff? I found this out after deciding to grill him for information instead of giving him medigel. Jacob says, "I guess we'll have to ask someone else." Oh, I went in with Zaeed and Jacob. Now that I have Jack I take Jack and Zaeed everywhere..... like to meet the Council.
"The Illusive Man warned me you'd be too stupid...."
"Yeah, okay, I'll accept the Spectre reinstatement for the gift shop discount. There's a dumb ass Krogan down there who thinks there's fish in the Presidium."
Now to rescue Garrus. -- ME2 on the couch on the XBox because I can put my feet up.
