I like her. We can't see how much musculature is in those arms, but they aren't spindly, so that's good.

And those are some very powerful looking thighs.

She could crush heads with those.

Maybe it's a race-specific talent, lol.

lol with those thighs, she can crush my head anytime

Maybe it's just the angle, they are slightly bent if you look. Anyway they didn't look particularly short in the demo.

Well they should at least reach a bit short of the knees and it feels more like they are on the levels of her hips.

It isn't anything that'd bother me while playing, just an observation.

I know BioWare said we could customize horns, but did that include making our Qunari straight up hornless?

Not sure that makes sense.  As far as I know, Qunari can't control the gender of a child, so how would they breed specific traits along gender lines?

Well it could have been allot more that that. She is still pretty tall, broad and strong looking but I guess the females do most of the manual labour so they would have to be strong.

Um what?

High birth rate within a community over generations would adjust their bone structures to help in child birth, it isnt a specific trait so much as a product of conditioning

For some odd reason she reminds me of Liara.

Anyway, I like her, that lass sure looks like she means business.

I think they said we can do that ages ago but I don't have a source. Hopefully if we can it will be referenced in the story, hornless Qunari are meant to be special after all.

Ah ok, do the Qunari have a particularly high birth rate though?

If I'm getting nitpicky her arms could be a bit more muscular and her head look just the tiniest bit too small but overall she looks great!

That demo did nothing to make me like her more. I disliked her design when we first saw her and now I learned that her voice is too girly as well. I hope the qunari male will be better :P .

You can choose between the English or the American voice, she had the american in the original demo.

Anyway her voice has nothing to do with her design.

That admittedly is just an assumption, though it only makes sense due to the fact that they have such vast numbers for being one faction (enough to hold the entire upper half of Thedas) and they view mating as a necessity to assist the QUn rather than an action of love or lust. They breed only to strengthen their cause and that would demand lots of men/women

IB's head looks small too, that can just sometimes be the case for tall broad people.

I agree about the arms but they aren't actually as bad as they could have been.

You have a point, if they have to breed when they are told it makes sense that they would have high birth rates.

I'm super happy with the design, she looks different enough to not to be a modified human, she is tall and doesn't seem to have Biowares trademark noodle-arms.

I also love her thighs.   :o

She actuall had the English VA. Alix voiced all the E3 content.

She did? Ah ok but you can still choose the american if you wish to. I didn't think the voice sounded wildly out of place though, the american will probably suit the Qunari better but tall people don't all have deep voices you know.  :P

except they can't have more kids than the priests can raise. Limiting all child rearig to one group which also has lots of other duties seems like it would keep birth rates small. Not to mention if accidental births don't happen that would cut off a buttload of population

But this I a silly topic. I doubt selective breeding has been happening in the Qun long enough to have any large effects on the species.

Not necessarily, since they breed ONLY when they're told. I expect the Qunari would adjust their population growth according to what is prudent given available resources, not necessarily to the highest possible.

true but they selectively breed so I am assuming there are Qunari who don't breed at all. Wouldn't the others have to be bred more to make up for that? I guess it depends.

Well wasn't it hinted that it did? I'm sure it was only mentioned to point out that we don't know what the Qunari might have looked like in the past.

Anyway Thedas genetics doesn't really make any sense from a real world perspective, this is all just speculation.

Considering that they plan on invading all of Thedas in one sweeping move, im willing to bet that they are breeding as much as realistically possible in order to have the numbers necessary to pull off another invasion. And as i mentioned before, they already pulled off this sort of invasion before wtih zero assistance so its safe to say, their population is booming, therefore a high birth rate is realistic to assume

Other than her hips I think she's perfect.
