Fair enoughConsidering that they plan on invading all of Thedas in one sweeping move, im willing to bet that they are breeding as much as realistically possible in order to have the numbers necessary to pull off another invasion. And as i mentioned before, they already pulled off this sort of invasion before wtih zero assistance so its safe to say, their population is booming, therefore a high birth rate is realistic to assume

So there was a discussion about the Qunari female when the demo was originally released but I couldn't find it (I couldn't be bothered to look for it
)
The Uploaded demo gave us a better idea of what she looks like. We can see her head shape her jaw line, shoulders and her general build a bit better out of that coat.
I think she looks awesome but I thought that before, what do you guys think?
I'd rather you didn't argue and derail the thread so please try to be respectful of others.
Her height and those amazeing hips and theighs

The artist for the comics made it so. Dont think so for actual in game

She's got my body shape, so that alone makes me fall in love with her design.
Looking forward to playing a femQunari in my 2nd playthrough. Think I might go hornless, too. Speaking of this choice, I wonder if having or not having horns is that big of a deal amongst the Qunari? I've always wondered.

You can choose between the English or the American voice, she had the american in the original demo.
Anyway her voice has nothing to do with her design.
I said that I didn't like her design. I was just searching for a redeeming quality but I can't seem to find any, rather the opposite.
Without armor she looks even worse. Too much bottom focus, small head and small arms. I expected something vastly different.

if i remember correctly they did have claws in DA2, I was hoping they'd be unique to males or something but it looks like they've just been removed since IronBull doesn't have them.

Um well ok then, I still don't see the relevance of bringing it up. The voice is choosable and an option for all races some it really doesn't have anything to do with the female Qunari specifically. It's just one of the voices.
Her shoulders are quite broad so her hips do need to e quite wide, they could have made her less curvy, would you have liked that better?
Ib's head is also a bit small looking. It really doesn't bother me and it's actually not unrealistic for someone with a build like that.

I do not get this "arms too short" thing. Or the small head, frankly, but especially her arms. They look like a perfectly normal length.

Actually yes I'd prefer her less curvy. It's what I've said in a previous thread as well, that when I first show the conceptual artwork in the DA2 race chart, I pictured her as more of a predator. Slender, agile. A hunter.
She turned out to be too robust. The voice is a problem because it just doesn't fit in my opinion. Perhaps you don't mind because it's the same for all but how can you think that it's not a valid design problem. If I had one voice for all characters then I'd try to make the characters fit the voice. Sure I'll wait to see how it works with the other option but till I hear it I can only comment on the one I know.
Just because IB has a relatively small head doesn't mean it's the standard. He is supposed to be huge even by qunari standards and sometimes people that are too tall have something that shows. But the fem inquisitor I think it's reasonable to expect that she is pretty much an average Qunari as far as looks and proportions are concerned. Which makes her design less consistent in my eyes.
I guess that these are still subject to change. Truth is I'm just not impressed with her. Unless she gets a redeeming quality (in my eyes) till the release I won't bother.

I like it a lot. Looks like she 6'8" to 6'10", tall of enough to tower everybody else but still shorter than the male Qunari.

The angle and the horns give her a bit of a fivehead. Took me a second to figure out what was going on, there.

Well that wasn't a rhetorical question but when I said less curvy I meant more stocky.
Anyway I prefer her like this rather than what we saw on the chart because the dimorphism would have been pretty ridiculous if she had been like that.
The voice is not relevant as I said. It's not a valid design problem because it's not specifically part of the female qunari's design. It's a feature all four races can choose to have. I am only asking about the female qunari specifically, you may as well be talking about her outfit, ofc I don't mind you mentioning it but it really isn't a relevant criticism of the female qunari design.
I didn't say the head was the standard, I said it wasn't unrealistic and it's not even for the female. I actually don't even see how the head looks all that disproportionate.
Where did that image of her come from?

about 9:05, I cropped it and made it a little brighter but it's just that image.

Well She seems to be sticking pretty close to the concept art to me.
