Actually forget about the walking animation, it is not bad but like I said it should be different than the human one.
My problem here is humans and elves are someone related in the race spectrum, so having close builds and walking animations is fine but dwarves and Qunari should not be so, especially dwarven female, which I am planing to do and I see an epic fail head.
Qunari female design.

I really liked her before, and now I LOVE her. Her build, the curves, those ears... she's perfect. Personally wouldn't go for the face paint, but with Sumalee's voice she's just going to be incredible. I adore AWR's voice acting, but I think she'll fit my Human or Elf so much better. That last demo video may just make her my first play.

Fantasy cares little about earth biology, as evidenced by presence of flying High Dragons you've helpfully mentioned.I see a startling number of posts that seem to completely ignore the biological fact of sexual dimorphism.
It's especially funny because the High Dragon is an example of sexual dimorphism as well, except the Males got what could be perceived as the Short end of the stick on that one.

Biology doesn't care about being politically correct.

I think that point works more against your argument more than for it. Dimorphism is not always "males are stronger" and a fantasy race does not need to have the same (or similar) dimorphism to humans. There is no obligation to make females curvier, smaller, skinnier or less muscular and if people are disappointed that they have done, then that's their opinion and it is not unjustified.
Personally I don't mind about dimorphism as long as it's not done to sexualise or in a way that makes the women look completely unfit to be on a battlefield.

Are people seriously talking about natural selection regarding the walking animation?
This is motion captured real walking and running. I'm sorry but it's clear a woman did the motion capture and yet it looks a lot less stereotypically fashion model than the walking we have in DA:I.
If you like the sexybunny walk you have a right to, but please don't try to pass your preferences off as a fact of nature. Check out other games with real people in motion capture (eg beyond two souls) as opposed to games like DAI where some animator programmed the movement. You will see it looks more natural (so the whole evolutionary argument ends right there because we're looking at the movements of real actresses) and less "oooh look at me I'm sexy".

They're all bipedal humanoids with similar bone structures in terms of how they walk.
I don't see why dwarves and qunari should walk exceptionally differently from humans and elves.

If he wants them to walk like this, well...here's your animation.

Yeah the arms are short.
So we tall Qunari with short little T-Rex arms, and short Dwarves with long apelike arms.
I'm good with that though. They aren't human, why should they have our proportions anyway?

I still think it's just perspective. Remember that she is quite tall so her arms should look a little short from some angles.

This is true, and I'm taking that into account with my observations. That only goes so far, and the angle itself determines how much that is the case. Plus the first pic was standing straight arms at side. Not sure where it's from, but the arm length fits what I'm seeing in my minds eye when I remove the angles and put those arms down.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so. If I am I'll be the first to admit it.

I was tossing up a bunch of ideas in my head, but I think these new screens sold me on a female Qunari Warrior.
Badass as f*** tbh.

Not sure yet but I'm thinking I'll name her Regina.
