Supposedly Simon Templeman(Loghain's VA) was doing some voice work with Bioware a couple months ago.

 

Of course, he's one of their go-to-guys, so he might have been working on another project of theirs.

Wow, I never went down that path. 

There were some interesting outcomes that I guess most players never saw.

 

 You can also marry Alistair to Anora AND save Loghain. Alistair will be upset and leave the party, but he will still be king.

I saw the OP mentioned Anders, im pretty sure ive seen floating around the forums that his VA was in for recording a while back, so if he lived he should appear, well unless he was just voicing some random chars.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but doesn't Sigrun either die in awakening or leave for her calling after the story ends?  Generally all the endings I ever got made it sound like she died no matter what.  Though I could be wrong.  

If you manage to complete Sigrun's Roguish Past, and pick the right dialogue like "I don't want to lose a friend" she will stay with the Wardens. You actually convinced her to delay her calling for several decades.

I would like to see Loghain, Oghren, Sigrun, Nathaniel, Ariane and Finn return, but I think it's very likely that we'll see Loghain and Carver/Bethany among the ranks of Grey Warden.

I'm hoping for Bethany/Carver to make a cameo but I understand it be hard to pull off with no recreation of Hawke available. Also, I would love to see Finn and Ariane because I love them as characters. Oghren, Velanna and Sigrun are all tied to the Grey Wardens so there's a chance, if Anders is alive I could see him leading a group of mages against the templars while being hunted by Sebastian, Aveline probably still in Kirkwall, Isabella will probably make a cameo(threesome?) and Merril seems unlikely.

Loghain because his in Orlais and the Grey Warden are an important plot in DAI.

Aveline/Isabela because they can't be killed so they're a safe cameo that could be in everyone's playthrough.

Both Carver/Bethany could make a cameo either with the Grey Warden/Circle Mage/Templar even if it's hard there are possibility that we could see them in the game. I would love to see Finn and Ariane as well they are a fun bunch to hang with. Unfortunately, I'm not sure about Velanna and Sigrun as the Grey Warden since most ending for these two is either died defending the keep or leave the order afterward. I think it's possible that Merril could play a part with the Dalish in Inquisition since one of the elements focused on the Elves try to reclaim their lost glory.
