I find it hilarious that vendors in the middle east and Italy just said F*ck it, we're selling it now. Never seen that happen before and it seems CDPR was helpless in the matter.
I know CDPR has anti-DRM attitudes, but this goes to show you they need to implement something like they have for the PC version for the consoles as well. Encrypt some files and only have them unlock via a small download at launch.

Part of a review from someone in the Middle East who got their hands on the game early:
Pathetic....
Spolier free but i really doubt fanboy free.

Witcher 3 may well be a brilliant game, but this honestly reads like a shill review.

I took it with a grain of salt. Too many 10's.

Did you notice how it vehemently contradict every single doubt came out in the less "positive" (mean those below 9 and above 8) review.

I know I for one can't wait to spam Metacritic with 0-rated reviews to get the user score as low as possible because graphical downgrades are literally Hitler and that makes Witcher 3 in every single way the worst game ever made and it gave me cancer. It's the only logical thing to do, tumbs ub if u agre!!!

Maybe.
But the part that interested me was the part that I quoted. Fetch quests are my biggest concern with TW3, in part because I'm not sold on the transition to open world and because DA:I, which went a similar route, was plagued with them. He at least is claiming the side content is not like we what he had in DA:I.
If true, that is great news.
I couldn't care less about downgrades since it doesn't affect me.

Me too! I'm so triggered by all these graphical downgrades, complaining about a luxury hobby is literally my life now, I need to show CDPR how offended I am.

There will be fetch quest, point.
If people want to delude themselves in thinking that a 10 second conversation do not make them fetch quest they are free to do it but i already see the ****** army of retards that will plague this place for months to come on how witcher 3 is everything inquisition isn't and frankly i'm quite fed up with this ****.

*comparison video*
There doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between the two but, then again, it doesn't say what settings it's using for PC...
Truly, from my perspective it's just moving a white line back and forth across the screen... ![]()

Am I the only one who thinks the 4K Witcher 3 video posted before isn't much better than DA:I at max settings? I watched the 1080p resolution though.

Spoiler
I really like what they've done with Radovid. The slight sagging in his eyes and worn down expression really shows what pressure this man is under. It's these little details which I just love.

Welp, I'm sticking with the screw everyone I'm going to save Triss import. It'll be interesting to see how much backlash that has in Witcher 3. Which isn't all bad, the number of versions of saves you can import into Witcher 3 are many (for PC), and as I'll replay this game, its not like I won't experience it all.
Also rescued Iorveth by killing the soldiers, and picked up Phillipa Eilhart's dagger from one of the corpses (the one used to cure Saskia if you went that route)
I wonder if by keeping hold of it, it'll stay with me in Witcher 3, then I'll have the chance of using it...only time will tell!

I'm importing my save where I gave Anais to Radovid. I'm just gonna accept the fact that Triss will be mad at me for having sex with Ves. If it blocks the romance then oh well.

Well, since the rest of his review seemed to be filled with "fanboyisms" nothing can really be taken as true. I have yet to see a fetch quest that doesn't actually appear to be a fetch quest. It doesn't matter how much fluff they put around it, it is still a fetch quest.

To be fair, Geralt's profession is basically a series of never ending fetch quests.
