I have a bad feeling Iorveth won't be in the game. Why didn't they show him in the trailer?
I'm expecting Yaevinn treatment for Iorveth, where Roche is getting Sig treatment.
Not that I mind. Best bro yo.

I don't know how it works if you sided with Iorveth in Act III (I've never done anything besides going for Triss), but in one ending at least he's badly burned. He might very well still be recovering during TW3s events. Also: 3hrs, 30 min.
3 hours and 30 minutes to go and my computer is making funny sounds, I think it will explode tonight.
I have ordered a new computer but it will take 2 or 3 weeks before it comes.
I'll hope for your computer getting you through the game, because it would absolutely suck to not be able to play. I'm wishing you the best of luck.

I realize it would be like ordering water at a night club, but is the sex & romance in W3 optional?

If my luck is bad then I am going to bug you. If both our luck is bad then I guess I'll be getting hand me down updates from you.
After the horrible experience I've had with the last 2 Dragon Age games, I just thank God for The Witcher 2 and now TW3. I'm overjoyed to hear it's not an open world game, and that it's story driven with a few open world aspects.
I think at long, long last we may actually recieve a hyped up game as good as it claims to be. I also want to thank all the BSN dudes who convinced me to stick with TW2 as I was struggling to absorn the lore and politics at first, but boy what a game lay waiting once I had!!
Also, thought this is a very, very excellent touch for TW3............

Well, since Geralt's motivation has always been to find Yennefer while getting caught up in as little sh*t as possible (which he fails at, BTW) and the games have been hinting at an ultimate choice between her and Triss in 3 and you're supposed to form a family unit with Ciri, I'm going to guess that romance and ensuing sex won't be optional.
Sleeping around will probably be, though.
Sigh, my collector's edition is on the way and will arrive tomorrow but I have too much going on with my internship, an upcoming exam this week and an essay to be able to play it for a while... ![]()
TW3 is actually open world. It might have a better balance between exploration elements and story elements though. After the horrible experience I've had with the last 2 Dragon Age games, I just thank God for The Witcher 2 and now TW3. And don't get me started on the graphics down grade and some characters looking worse then TW2.

If memory serves, Geralt didn't even know someone named Yennefer existed for the entirety of the first game, so I'd hardly say it's always been his motivation. He didn't start remembering her until Witcher 2, and even then it wasn't until the end of the game that finding her becomes his goal.

I can't speak for the first game. It has been an inordinate amount of time since I played it but I recall already some hints of a love triangle between Geralt, Triss and Yennefer already in Act 1 of 2.
Really hoping CDP does not screw up the reunion with Ciri,

Hell, Triss left out alot of stuff on Yen s Geral would not fully remember their rtealonship so Triss could get some witcher action.

And it was pretty confusing for someone who didn't read the books. I was mostly all "Who the **** is this Yenn person, and why do I care again?"
I think TW2 needed to do more work about conveying the whole "true wuv soulmate 4evah" aspect.
Also! 1:30 left!
There is no Iorveth, cry ._.
According to Origin, the Witcher 3 launches in 28 minutes.
I could triple dip and buy it there as well....
No. I will hold the line and wait.
