Oh my god I feel like a genius!

 

Managed to set my main monitor up on my gpu, and 2nd one via Motherboard. Now my gpu is back to basically running cold, and when I fire up Witcher 32, it barely rises above 60 degrees!

 

My collector edition also arrived this morning

Mine is installing now. Regular edition. Came with a map poster and a CD with the soundtrack on. In comparison: DA:I doesn't even let me hear the soundtrack in the game due to a bug. And that is half a year after release.

My Collector's Edition came with a signed...leaflet like thing from all the Developers if my eyes are telling me right!

 

It says on the bottom left "CD Projekt  Exclusive", just a bit slimmer and longer then a standard comic book size, and its gorgeous.

 

Of course it was resting on TOP of the Collector's Edition, I'll have to find a way to keep it safe.

Am reading several PC reviews that are mentioning difficulty with KB&M controls; most recommend controllers. Any feedback here?

Hm, there is a...challenge to the KB+M controls, but honestly for me its just the speed.

 

I gave my CE a quick look, and holy moly it was worth the money. The inside is also signed by Devs, the artbook looks fantastic, the Wolf medallion is surprising heavy. 

 

I've yet to look at the statue, simply because I have cats around so it wouldn't end well lol. All in all, would buy again!

They also changed Dandelion's voice .Each time you load your save, someone gives you a quick run down, which can only be Dandelion.

 

Either its the same actor, in which case he deserves a toast for the change of tone, or its a new one. And I quite like the new voice. It's not what I would expect, and the voice carries like that with years of experience. And being a poet, his Vocal cords are no doubt like a very fine wine at this moment in time!

Also Borderless-Window makes everything run...clippy like, where as fullscreen its all smooth.

Runs pretty good on radeon hd 6950.

 

Initial settings, motion blur, blur off. Also turned off antialiasing.

Still not 60fps, but it really doesnt matter because its not from first perspective. Just have to avoid turning cameras in combat and everything is fine.

 

Funny those crybabies that said this does look average..Looks very beautiful even with my settings.

 

Combat is very good and i have dies several times already, even have only played like 3 hours.

0 crashes so far.

 

I cant wait next month till the r390 will be realeased, so i would get smoot 60fps and 4k with hopefully atleast medium to high settings.

My collector's edition just arrived! It's gorgeous, all of the literature is fantastic and reads like a love letter from CDPR to the fans. It's packed with stuff and seemingly signed by everyone, so happy with this purchase!

I think the hours in which we play as her will help satisfy your curiosity for a spinoff game. Who knows, she might be the main person in the next game, if they ever come back to the Witcher world.

 

I can imagine the backlash if that happened.

CDPR already said, if I'm not mistaken, that TW3 is the end of Geralt's tale but not of the Witcher franchise. It's possible a sequel could place us in the role of Ciri.

Also anyone noticed any other hair options and where to get them? The shaved sides and ponytail look from the tutorial is growing on me lol

It comes to being Worthy, and for me, I feel I'm not worthy of donning such an amulet.
