i7-4770k at 4.2ghz, 780 Ti Superclocked. 8GB of Ram.

 

Everything set to Ultra, foliage distance set to high, and I think I have HBAO+ and not SSAO on. Or it might be the other way round, depends on which one is in the middle on the toggle bar!

 

60 - 80fps depending on environment. Currently running through a forest, trees are swaying from the wind, 55 - 60fps.

 

Hairworks - On; 34 - 40fps (Cutscenes) - Hovering around 44fps mark otherwise

Hairworks - Geralt: 44 - 50fps

Hairworks Of: Fps as stated above.

 

All in all, I am very pleased with the results. I think I might just keep Hairworks on all the time, I'm not picky about FPS, and with my 144hz Monitor, everythings freshed out so it looks smooth regardless. I just thought others who do tweak for FPS performance would appreciate the above.

 

How do I make sure its set to my Monitor refresh rate? I'm guessing the FPS setting must be unlimited?

I don't know how to level up in this ****** game. All of the quests I accept are 5-10 levels above mine and I consistent encounter enemies that are 5-10 levels greater. I feel like I should start over because I messed up or something.

Sadly I'm not getting my hands on the game until june (after my exams), but could you please elaborate on M+KB controls? I can still turn PC around in a millisecond like in tW2, right? RIGHT?

That's the point of using a mouse after all. My eventual in-action camera mod might become useless if the turning is controller levels slow.

 

I can imagine the backlash if that happened.

One does not simply get out of the Hinterlands. It's invisible walls contain naught but fetch quests. There is boredom there that does not end.

Had a flicker of rendering bugs. Remember how it happened in Inquisition, especially on Dorian's face, his mostache and eyes would shrink a bit? Yeah that happened here lol, but it sorted it self out.

I see all the characters that can help you in certain moment, no Iorverth, Only Letho, Roche and Ves. Letho is in Velen, if someone wants to find him quickly.
All regions has characters that can help you, nothing about Iorveth in any of them.

The game still looks great on medium/high.
