Is Parry completely useless? I get stunned by every monster encountered so far and also human enemies except for ones with shields.

Anyone else getting a really smooth gameplay but choppy cutscenes? It's especially noticeable when the camera focuses on someone's face and there's a forest or grass behind them.

Don't have this game, but perhaps emptying the cache may be helpful before gameplay. Seemed to help with a couple of other titles with sim problems.

I got that at first, but as soon as I turned off hairworks everything smoothed out.

They actually changed that quest a bit. The Ciri segment was short though.
As in run a few feet with her to reach the checkpoint.

Playing it now, my only annoying gripe with the game so far is the combat. Combat is smooth and plays out like a dance, but the controls are just weird. (Left shift + left mouse to do a heavy attack? Really?) And equipment detioration is a bit too fast. (Fighting 3 unarmored bandits with sticks shouldn't take out 10% of your sword's durability).
Ohterwise, I really like how authentic everything looks. Even the 'basic' weapons looks like it had gotten a lot of love and the towns and villages look like proper ******-holes.

Just a advise, don't try to have both Yennefer and Triss, you gonna be ruled, choose just one and don't try to **** the other.

I got the Ciri segment when I went to the Barons place.
Like her dodge, fits her.

You are the best. I was playing on medium-high on 20-30 FPS and after turning the Hairworks off, my framerate went sky-high.

Looking forward to some of that action one day when I'm not busy breaking swords against wolves and running for my life from bandits. I seriously need more exp and fast

Yeah, Hairworks eats FPS like candy.

What if the 'priiiiiiize' ends to be like Jacob's romance in ME3

I guess I should wait crafting Gven'nel?
Why is there a level 13 weapon in a starting area?

Playing on high setting and the game looks gorgeous. Only just arrived at the inn in White Orchard, but the animations and cutscenes look really impressive. Faces too.
And I'm loving the humor in this already. Vesemir after asking about Yennefer: "especially hard to forget this one" with that look from Geralt in response.
Poor Geralt.

Geralt can have masks, and wears them during "sex" scenes too. 10/10

I swear to God
This damn Gwent player in the Vizima Castle is impossible to beat! But thats not all
- I beat him before, however chose to backdate from that save to give an injured woman the Swallow potion.
- I can't seem to find the lady from the Inn at White Orchad anymore, and this is after she gets her face smashed against the bar table, so I can't buy the Gwent cards from her!
I think I might have to backdate AGAIN, just to get those cards, and hope that it helps against the guy. Or I could just grind and pray to RNG that he never gets good cards.
Also lol at Yennefer, flirting with Geralt. She's going to be in for the shock of her life, I'm only interested in Triss.

Anyone finished the Keira Metz storyline? This must be one of the most epic questlines I have ever played. Other games would be lucky to have this as the grand finale and I'm still at the beginning of the story after finishing it.....

I gotta say so far outside of the opening scene which stutter a little bit. This game is running very well on XBONE. I am finally able to travel around the world. It seem the open world is similar to DAI except it is much better. This is what I was hoping for in DAI.
