I guess I'll be moving on, this thread doesn't even hide spoilers! People what are you doing? :(

I've bought the Witcher 3 today, but before I start playing it I have one question regarding the Witcher 2. If you for example choose Roche's path does the all the stuff that happens on Iorveth's path still happen or not?

The way TW3 starts kind of implies that despite your efforts on Iorveth or Roche's path, they didn't matter all that much. The game starts out with a predefined political horizon, regardless, both Temeria and upper Aedirn being overrun by Nilfgaard.

As for differences, noone knows. I heard people saying they met Roche, but I have no idea if he reacts to you differently if you chose Iorveth path.

Having to repair weapons is a chore. I hate the feeling of seeing the red logo in the corner letting me know one of my swords needs to be taken care of but I have no repair kits on hand.

How do I cook meat? I got all this wolf meat and no way to cook it!

Also, I'm playing on the hardest difficulty on a bet.

I did a strong attack on the golem in Keira's quest and as if on cue my silver sword immediately broke.

For real though people, spoiler tags. Dunno why this thread doesn't have them after the game launched but c'mon now.

So I'm thinking of upgrading my proccesor and graphics cards so I can actually play modern games on my Pc. Here are the things I'm planning on getting:

Geforce GTX960 (comes with a free edition of TW3)

http://www.ebuyer.co...rd-zt-90305-10p

Intel I5 3.5ghz

http://www.ebuyer.co...d-bx80646i54690

Can anybody with similar specs, who's got the game tell me how well these components would be able to run TW3?

Why not i7?  :3

Tell me about it, I'm still level 4 and I'm on the 5-6 quests in the main story. I'm also running into level 7's out in the wild wondering HOW THE HELL I GET TO THAT LEVEL SOONER.

Levels don't really mean too much. Just ride a horse and clip 'em with heavy swing. I beaten packs of level 11 looters as a level 3 with that trick.

Will keep that in mind, cheers Han.

What's retarded is how rats can somehow damage your tempered steel sword fashioned by the finest smith.

Another quick tip: If you horde stuff (as I do from time to time) You can still 'run' as fast by doing a fast attack and dodge roll. You're actually somewhat faster than sprinting.

Is there some super easy way to farm repair kits in a shop, at a vendor, etc etc? I know you can get a couple of repair kits from the merchant right by the fast travel spot in White Orchard.

I find that levelling is going much faster now that I'm a higher level for some reason. Maybe it's just because there's more stuff to do in Velen than White Orchard.

The smith at the baron's place is easy to beat in Gwent. I beated his ass with my starting deck (he mostly uses ranged cards so mess with him with fog cards). It's an easy way to farm cash to buy kits and upgrades without being too boring.

As for better kits, I noticed looters tend to drop repair kits for some reason. I might be mistaken, but I had some journeyman level kits (40-50% repair) after fighting them.

P.S. You guys might have more cash than you think. Just make sure you trade in any random currencies you get. I was as poor as a hobo until I realized I had a ton of florens and orens.

A friend told me that you should not sell florens and orens, because you could convert them on a bank. I forgot where though

Yeah I've got some but nowhere to convert them so I'm sitting on more money than I can use.

I think Quen is stronger. Active shield with health regen. Combine that with fast attack with oils (which are infinite) the nyou can pretty much stun-lock human bosses.
