Yeah the Baron part of the game is clearly the best so far. The voice acting is mostly solid all around, but he just brought it to a whole new level. The way he does his lines and the way it changes with how he changes and how Geralt treats him during dialogue choices. Its art, there is nothing more to say. Its why i love video games.

I saw that. I thought it was juvenile from them. I mean, it's totally their right to be upset about Geralt playing around. But I would expect an adult confrontation, not a child's play. Kind of disappointed Triss behaves in such a way. The metagamer in me is kind of turned off after that scene. I was planning on staying with Triss once I buy the game, but now I'm not sure if I'll really romance either of them after what I saw. Maybe I'll just have Geralt become a badass loner adventurer or something.

I personally found it funny. When I saw where Triss and Yen were up to with the whole promise of threesome, my bullshite radar detector was pinging like crazy. I was like - "This is a trap, these two women would never agree to this. Something else is at work here." Turns out I was right. 

 

You don't have to romance either one of them and you will still get your fair share of one night stands. That's the thing with the Witcher series. You can pursue all the paths.

 

Want to two-time the love interests ? Sure, but you will get burned.

 

Want to pick only one of them and still have one night stands ? Yep, go for it. They don't care.

 

Want to pick only one of them and not pursue one night stands for the sake of monogamous love ? No problem.

 

Want to not romance either of the love interests and have one night stands ? No problem.

 

Want to not pursue any women in the game ? You can do that too.

My Geralt don't GAF. Plus making me do all that running around before he admitted to his bullshit? **** him. I shall play him the smallest violin. He was actually the first person in the game my Geralt was a dick too. Wasn't the last tho.

 

Also my Geralt is gonna be the one night stands but no Triss/Yen type.

Keira Metz ? But she is more like a friends with benefits. I think there are only 2 big love interest options, Triss and Yennefer. The rest are one night stands or friends with benefits.

Finally got my new liquid cooler creatively installed in my small home theater-sized case, may be overkill for this game though - never gets above 30 C. 

 

I'm impressed by the CGI cutscenes, i'm also impressed at how it runs on my 750ti, very smooth in gameplay (running on medium setting). I'm going to have to get used to the HUD though, it's very tiny.

Its kind of a dick move to then pour out your heart to Yenn aftwards. I thought the revenge and them breaking up was good development for Triss.

 

Shows she can get over Geralt.

It's seeming less and less like he will.

Not too surprising though. He's probably not leaving Saskia's side.

Saskia likes dwarves, not Elves. So Iorveth is probably stuck watching Saskia getting it on with a Dwarf. 

 

Maybe he will appear in the expansion pack perhaps ? Broche and Broletho are in the game though.

No, although it would have been nice to see the trees go to the horizon when looking out the balcony at the beginning, but I can live with the current distance.

 

I'm more concerned about my fans going maximum on this game (twin GTX 980). They don't do that in DA:I or GTAV and both of those are at max possible settings. Has me scratching my head until I figure out what's causing it. Can't seem to narrow it to one video option or group of options.
