Oh yeah, and I've been meditating for multiple days in a row with a clean shaven Geralt and there's been no hair growth on his face. Which makes me think that yeah, dynamic hair growth is disabled with the hair DLC utilized.

Well, Roche and I spent all that time hunting down kingslayers...
What's your PC specs? Those graphics are mouthwatering.
Not my screens unfortunately. May try to bump it up to that one day, see if 2x 780 Tis can handle it.

Y'know...never been one of Triss' biggest fans by any means, manipulation and whatnot...but, I'll admit, this parting goodbye (no romance, obviously) was pretty damned sad.
Good job CDPR. This game has been feel-punch after feel-punch. Much as I loved the last two games, they were both a little dry from an emotion perspective...TW3 really improves on that.

Will Turner has nothing on Geralt!
He has Keira Knightley in his life. *shrugs* Geralt should be so jelly he's outright gelatinous.
Geralt can't even win her over cause he's got enough drama in his own timeline with the ladies.

Just met Yennefer. What the f*** was all that about Triss? Lady, I've never met you before in my life. I had no investment in finding you to begin with and now I learn that you were perfectly fine all along and could have contacted me anytime if you had so wished. At least I lost my memory, what's your excuse?

And i have finished the main story. Don't know what to say really, some things left me speechless, but all the same it felt abit lacking. The story in general was amazing. Well written and voiced characters, tons of sublety in the dialogue, good plot in most quests related to the people around Geralt. Great quests overall, though i got quickly tired of The Witcher contracts, it was abit to overwhelming for me with so many things happening at once. I like open world, but not for an rpg type like this. I cried, i laughed, i smiled, i loved, i built friendships and extended the ones that already existed.
Its abit weird that it has been so many years since i play the first game, actually only played it twice, but i do enjoy the story and it just rushed back to me when i began this game. Everything from the first game to this has been so well told. I am stumped, i am abit sad. Its over. There will be expansions, but it will not be the same. Don't know what else to say.

And this was basically resolved earlier, but gonna echo it either way; the beard does grow when you have the beard DLC. So Snook, it might be a bug on your end (though you said something about being able to control the beard growth, so might check into that).

Well, I've spent most of the afternoon playing this game.... and I haven't even completed the main questline to leave white Orchard with Vesimir yet.

Decided to lower the difficulty and finish this main story. Still got a little bit further to go. The story in this game has been so damn good. Ciri and Yennifer just continue to impress me. I am really liking both of them and their character development throughout this game. When I do the next playthrough which I will do everything possible that I can. I will go with Yennifer as the romance.

Now sitting on a little over 48K crowns. I'm good for now. Gonna go back to actually playing the game instead of farming the pearl method. ![]()

What is Geralt going to do with 48K crowns ? Invest in a small army to fight The Wild Hunt ? Or to pay both Triss and Yennefer to be in a relationship with him simultaneously ?

Is there a any difference in how the first meeting with Triss goes depending on if you saved her or not in 2?

I'm not even sure what you need money for, besides repairs and crafting. The weapons merchants sell suck. Crafting materials can be found elsewhere, and the rare ones probably can't be found in shops anyway. Potions and bombs can only be crafted. Maybe some of them have great crafting diagrams, but I've found nothing that made me wish I was richer so I could buy it. I'm sitting on 3K crowns without farming anything and having all my repairs done by armorers all the time. That's without the mountain of stuff I could dismantle or sell to probably make a couple thousand more gold.

With 48K crowns? Help pay off the Iron Bank of Braavos.
Oh wait.

I'm curious, does anyone know if you can have multiple playthroughs in TW3? That is, without overwriting the same saved games?

I don't think 48K crowns is even remotely enough for that. hahaha

Yeah it became yet another bad gold/crowns/money system. I said no to coin so many times, even in the main quest and i ended up with around 20k at the end. There is always to much money, but as you say there is nothing to dump it into in this game. Atleast in DA:I you had some crappy schematics you could buy ![]()
