Thanks Farci

I would have liked to but it didn`t come out on the PS :(

Yes it has been some tough luck for console players across the Witcher trilogy. Especially for playstation players.

Even The WItcher 1 was supposed be released for all console players in 2008, they already got this nice trailer below made and everything when it suddenly got cancelled.

Year 2008 was a very hard year for gaming companies and CD project was so small company at the time they had to put their all focus to witcher 2 in order to survive.

Xbox version of the witcher 2 was at development after the release of pc-version almost a full year because of the optimization took so much time.

After that CD project stated they had no more energy to do playstation version anymore.

Still hoping fingers crossed that the trilogy pack of the witcher series will be released at some point to all platforms. Kinda like in mass effect playstation players didnt get to play the first one before the trilogy pack. =]

The witcher 1 and 2 got some good "world trailers" prior to release which explained nicely in a few minutes the world setting of the witcher games.

https://www.youtube....K0L73ERMw#t=102

(Ok I admit, the narrator in the first one is hardly above mediocre)

So I think it is more than likely something similiar will be released for witcher 3.

Heres hoping we will see some video narrated by Charles Dance where we will see the

full glory of the White Flame Dancing On The Burrows Of His Enemies!

jcY5L1cn4wfVF.jpg

Ok, seriously my idea of ideal "world trailer" would be a scene from a Nilfgaardian Solider Academy
in far future (when Geralt and others would be long buried. Similar to the scene in the Lady Of The Lake book) where the professor/teacher

would lecture students about the past Empires third invasion to North describing the circumstances (of course not mentioning who won in the end) and explaining how for example Temeria was conquered and northern armies forced to retreat behind the Pontar River.

A narrative with nice visual flashbacks to the war, would explain nicely to the new players the world state of the witcher game.

I love the texture and details of her shirt, but I think they should tone down the cleavage. I prefer her TW2 outfit.

It would indeed be nice, but in a Q&A with them, they stated that there wouldn't be a trilogy pack at all. Things could change in the future though, so fingers crossed.

And agree on a "World Trailer". The TW2 was just perfection for me, and would something similar.

Triss' TW2 outfit was indeed great, but I do like this one as well. It is colorful, aesthetically pleasing while not being too flamboyant and cleavage has never hurt anyone. It is a nice change of outfitting, with same roots as its predecessor.

Still no scar on the cleavage, I see. They've always seemed to leave that detail out.

Yeah.  It was fine in Witcher 1 where they didn't really have the assets to do a lot of different character models, but there's not much reason in Witcher 2 or 3.

I was wondering if it has been discussed about how your previous saves of the game can be imported.  I have only played The Witcher 2 on the Xbox 360 and I would love to use my last game save for TW3.

Yennefer's Geralt's "true love" in the books and he's had on and off again flings with Triss (in both books and games), so yeah.

Only in separate playthroughs, if you want Geralt to come out alive.

Her TW2 outfit had a good blend of modesty, sexiness and practicality.

Smh at the high heels.

Sure, it doesn't hurt anyone. I'm not in physical pain after being confronted with Triss' breasts, but I just think it would be better to have the neckline go a little less low. It still would have looked sexy but more practical as well, and the outfit is obviously supposed to be for travelling and adventuring. If she had to attend a posh party like Leuvaarden's in TW1 she can have as much cleavage as she wants, but with this outfit the very low neckline and the heels are two unnecessary additions to make it more sexy. The outfit is already sexy because it's so tight everywhere. Sexing it up even more doesn't add much for me and only hurts the purpose of the outfit.

Still no scar on the cleavage, I see. They've always seemed to leave that detail out.

I guess it wouldn't make much sense to add the scar in the third and last game. We've seen her naked in TW2 and she didn't have it then, so putting it there now would be weird.

Agreed. It's a shame they've felt the need to put all three leading ladies on heels now. Again, if they were just hanging around in Novigrad and attended parties and political gatherings heels would be fine. I had no problems whatsoever with Philippa's or Sìle's outfits in TW2, impractical as they might be to move around in. But Ciri is apparently running for her life. That's easier without heels. I still like the overall look of the clothes of all three women, but the need for extra sexiness is a bit disappoiniting.

Her cleavage doesn't bother me. I don't even see much sexism in any of the female characters that were presented so far. The only thing that bothers me is Ciri wearing high heels, i can understand for Yenn and Triss since they are sorceresses.

Aside from that, Ciri, Yenn and Triss are all very well done and unique. And you know CDPR is good at making characters when the biggest complaint about all 3 of them are high heels.

Still an odd decision, especially on Ciri and when the heels are so huge. I never noticed, but the sorceresses had heels in TW2 as well, but they were much smaller. With Ciri though, a master swordsmen? meh.

Battle heels! Why do developers insist in giving it to women...

CDPR are really limited with The Witcher. They've got a set protagonist who they can't allow players to change too much because they want the games to be true to the books. This leaves us with limited customization on Geralt and less dialogue choices to influence Geralt as a person. However with The Witcher 2, the ability to influence Geralt was greater than in the first game (IMO) and I can see the potential in CDPR of what they can do in a game without a set protagonist. Cyberpunk is going to be amazing, perhaps more so than The Witcher 3 I think.

Considering those limitations of staying true to the lore and books, I'd say CDPR have done a great job working with them and the customization in The Witcher 3 looks more extensive than what we've got in the past two games. There's more armor sets for starters:

Spoiler

My personal fav is in the second image, second column, first armor set on the left and also the one beneath it and the one next to it. Those armor sets look great.

LOL @ Geralt in a kilt in the third image!

Let us take a moment and admire the Emperor of Nilfgaard.

ibz7RXZa1yRtfy.jpg

I do enjoy the clothing and general appearance of Emhyr. There is no sense of regal attire or any intricate style to it, but it comes off as rather plain considering his stature. At first I thought this was some small nobleman, and was surprised that it actually was Emhyr himself. I think it does speak about his character and how he feels no need to look admirable in front of anyone, since he doesn't need to for people to get his attention and he knows it.

Aye, The White Flame Dancing on the Barrow of his Enemies continues to impress me. God, this game can't come soon enough.
