I could see myself playing another Witcher, preferably from one of the other schools. Then again all Witchers are men, are they not? Would be cool to play a woman in that universe. But if they decide to be done with the franchise, i would understand. 3 great games have come out of it, more than we get out of most game series. 

Ciri is a pseudo witcher. Only thing she lacks is the mutations, but she has their training, knowledge and her own magic. I think a game following her exploits as a witcher would be great.

This is now one of the few game series that actually got better with each entry, so a fourth isn't really necessary in my mind, if it was to end now it ended on a high note.

CDP has already said TW3 is the end of Geralts tale(and considering the possible endings, it makes sense), but they might do another game in The Witcher series, hence why Ciri's exploits as a witcher is popular topic. More so with her having playable parts.

Given Ciri's possible endings I very much doubt she'll be the protagonist of the next game. Her story should end with Geralt's.
 

It's not that I don't like her, in fact I applaud CDPR for what they did with her and I am pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the main story, but to me Ciri's fate is tied to Geralt. IF they made a game with her then Geralt should play an obvious major role in which case one should wonder why we aren't playing Geralt.

Besides a Witcher game is about playing this mutated monster hunter with sword skills, magic and alchemy. Ciri is decidedly not an alchemist.

 

Of course this removes the possibility of a female protagonist, but so bloody what? CDPR didn't get where they are right now by pandering to the social crusading cretins, they shouldn't start with TW4 and I think they won't given that their own Polish demographic would tear them a new one for it.

Oh I agree. Really I think after Cyberpunk launches they should focus on that or new IPs. Finish the expacs, maybe do some more content, do a EE to end TW3 with a bang then go on new products. Continuing to milk of TW CAN damage the series and mess with the endings TW3 gives the player.

Would be cool, but probably won't happen. Which is a shame because Jo Wyatt owned that role. I didn't like Dragon Age II very much, but Jo Wyatt as female Hawke saved that game.

You know what i like most about Witcher 3? When I exit game, it closed instantly.

I hope they rather continue to make expansions with a small team for Witcher 3 and concentrate on Cyberpunk. There are still so many locations I would like to visit with Geralt and after they said there won't be another Geralt Witcher game I don't have that much interest in a Witcher 4.

Ever think to yourself getting into RPG's was kind of a mistake?

It's quite...conflicting that they have this effect of emotionally attacking you. Heck I've been like this with Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and at the moment, this game hits the hardest. 

 

I remember at the end of Mass Effect 3, that whole business. Then I played through all the DLC's and Citadel DLC, and that really tore me up. Then there was Inquisition, first playthrough completion, I didn't manage to unlock all companion quests, so by the end it was tormenting. One of the things that hits hardest is when Bull said he'd probably turn himself back into the Re-educators. 

 

And now I have Witcher 3. I never really thought about an end with Geralt. I guess because the Witcher games were quite alien to me when I played them a few years back. Then I caught the reveal of Witcher 3, then before I knew it, I caught up and connected with this world and its characters. Now Geralt's story is over, and its damn near impossible imagining anyone else taking the reigns in his place. I know there is Ciri, but still. 

 

Now its on to the recovery process. Which is complete the Witcher 3 over and over, maybe take breaks to play other games to completion, then come back. Hopefully by then the storm will be calmed.

 

But yeah, ignore this, just a fan who's emotionally gripped and has to come to terms with Geralt's story coming to an end

 

Anyway, I wonder how they'll incorporate a new look for Yennefer. I'm guessing they'll add an option in the in-game Menu or something.

That's alright, they can implement that game from the books that Ciri played with Lambert. I think it was Lambert anyway.

I'm telling you, its an Oren maker. There's only so many times someone can play a Blizzard card against my Melee deck before I rage.

 

I'm pretty sure Ciri and Lambert played a game like that in the books. It's either my memory speaking, or the rage from that Blizzard card speaking lol

As far as I know the rollback feature has not yet been implemented in Galaxy. The only way to go back is manually by uninstalling and installing the game with its patches.
