I hope they rather continue to make expansions with a small team for Witcher 3 and concentrate on Cyberpunk. There are still so many locations I would like to visit with Geralt and after they said there won't be another Geralt Witcher game I don't have that much interest in a Witcher 4.

I hope they don't continue the game with one of those endings, I really hope so, to be honest, I want they to end the series once for all.

Turns out, the original concept for The Witcher has a customizable character with Geralt as one of the NPC's.

Sadly it was not to be... oh well..

Every time my Geralt dies, he falls to his knees then his body hops up into the air as the screen fades to black..

I was talking about the customizable character part.. which could have made the Witcher a whole lot more interesting to me.

depends, if your enemie pass your number, you will lose the round, you need to be sure that he will not pass you.

The best tactic for early gwent games is the use of decoy.

Charles Dance.

That is all.

Yeah, I met Radovid and while his writing was decent his voice actor simply lacks the presence of Not-Tywin.

You cannot pass a turn in Gwent without relinquishing the ability to play more cards in that round. If you pass, its because you're confident you're going to win the round, you know you're going to win the round, you know you're going to lose the round, or you're sacrificing a round to win a later one.

Normally sacrificing the first round after you whittle your opponents cards and keep your good stuff then you stomp them in the last two rounds.

This is where decoy comes in handy early game.

That's what I thought. It's just that every guide online I've read about playing gwent confuses passing a round with a turn and they're not at all the same.

My strategy in gwent so far is to lose the first hand but making my opponent waste as many unit cards as possible. I use environment cards and decoys to that effect. Seems to be working except when my opponent has way too powerful cards.

Now that I've gotten to know Geralt of Rivia and his companions from his perspective, making him just another NPC would've been complete folly on CDPR's part. I'm glad they didn't go in that direction. I'm not opposed to the idea of a player-customized protagonist going forward since Geralt's story has reached its conclusion (or so they say), but implementing one at the expense of the White Wolf, the man the whole series is about? No thanks.

Played Gwent with Zoltan today. He had a Geralt of Rivia card. Hero card with a card strength of 15.

Geralt does not have the card of himself. What sort of *expletive* is this

Yep. Though sometimes you can win the first round;if you can, its great to do it and then sacrifice the second to go all in on the third or just go all in on the second and hope you win it.

Speaking of Gwent, my MILFguard deck is strong as hell now so I alternate between Northern Realms and MILFguard. My Scoia'tel deck is still lacking and my Monsters deck is nothing.

Nilfgaard deck is broken as hell, more so once you get the neutral hero cards.

Gotta love how most of the people you recruit for the Brothers in Arms quests have lengthy quests for it but Zoltan's just all 'LET'S DO THIS BRUH' and immediately follows you. Ah, dwarfbro.

You don't have to do the quest to get those cards of his for that?

Huh. Didn't recruit Djikstra and decided Emhyr would be a stupid idea, but still got the 'full crew' achievement.

Funny enough my Nilfguard deck has the most hero cards out of the four decks. I've got something like five hero cards in it(some neutral like Yennefer). That deck can have some seriously strong set up if you've got the right set of cards.

Thinking about it, I'd really like Gwent to be expanded. Doesn't have to be in The Witcher 3 necessarily but its a fun card game and I'd like to play it some more.

From what I've heard, depending on whether or not you find his gold, he'll give you a thousand in coins(i personally failed to find it).
