And about the Ending:

Didnt care that much for the North, I only cared about Temeria, its good to see her back but I dont like that for it Nilfgaard needs to win and Emhyr still breaths (still remember what they did in TW2)
But Roche have his country back, Ciri is the Empress (dont know if she is happy, but thats the path she chose), Geralt and Triss are happy in Kovir and Yennifer is alone. This is the best ending for me.

I got up to the end, and having a major issue with a boss called

Ciliranth, I believe. Is there an optimal strategy for him?

He uses homing missiles either all at once, or one at a time and drops elementals... but that isn't the problem. The moment I get close enough, he'll teleport elsewhere, and my signs aren't helping that. Rolling quickly can knick him a few times, but that added up to 1/6 of his health over 5 minutes.

Yeesh.

I liked it better as Ciri where I could just backstab his health to oblivion.

You see this is what I like to see, if there are going to be side quest, treasure hunts, contracts, whatever... make'em meaningful, even if its just so ****** poor dirt farmer who needs a coin to feed himself. a choice in whether to comply or deny makes me feel something, anything and that's good even if its just such a small scale distraction.

Agreed. Felt the side quests/contracts had the meaningful C&C spread out moreso than CDR's previous games. Looking forward to seeng the flip sides of my choices on Playthrough #2. Half-Tempted to replay the other 2 games - should probably remember the storyline better than I do.

Archgriffin Deconcotion makes every boss a cakewalk IF you can avoid/roll from their attacks.

What it does is that every strong attack drains all your stamina, so you want the skill that lets you cast signs with adrenaline, but also does 10% of the enemy's HP in a single hit beyond your regular damage.

Oh I love it. Kudos to CD Projekt, their humour is great.

 

Although the book forgot to include is how "pirates" easily get pass DRM and how those with admin position continue to get punished as a result. But seriously, I love CD Projekt's stance against DRM and I hope more and more developers continue to take their position especially with GOG Galaxy now being open.

 

I have yet to play The Witcher 3, I could get in on the PS4 but want to get it for the PC instead (first I need to upgrade my computer with a new graphics card and processor which will be arriving soon).

He's furios at how CDPR handled Letho, Radovid and Anais. Hasn't played the game yet but has read and watched vids.

Letho wasn't bad, unless that is the extent of his involvement in the game, which will be a huge disappointment. And what I have been hearing about Radovid has certainly not been to my liking one bit.

Well gonna see for myself how the game handles it.

You do his quest, he fights with you at Kaer Morhen then vanishes, goes east as he says.

Should have fought alongside you against the hunt in the final battle quite frankly.

Ciri takes the life of a Witcher, Radovid repels and defeats Nilfgaard, the Emperor dies, and Triss and Geralt live happily ever after in Kovir.

 

But I don't find out what happens to Yennefer lol. I think she was suppose to be Advisor to the Emperor, so either she got the hell out of there and is hiding with members of the Lodge.

 

Or she just got completely pushed of the page by my choices.

CDP has already said TW3 is the end of Geralts tale(and considering the possible endings, it makes sense), but they might do another game in The Witcher series, hence why Ciri's exploits as a witcher is popular topic. More so with her having playable parts.

I interpretted that sentence in a very wrong way the first few times I read it.
