I have a question for those, who finished the game already.
I'm on Skellige and I'm after two main quests there. ( I had to go back to Novigrad to finish some stuff. ) How much story I have left, more/less? I'm asking only about the main story.

That's great. I was afraid that the main story is relatively short, like in DAI, but looks like it's not. Nice surprise. Thanks.

Just finished the main quest last night and by the time you start the Skellige part of the main quest chain you are roughly 50%-60% into the story. A little hard to gauge given the massive amount of side quests you can do but there is plenty of main quest stuff still in front of you!
Edit: I haven't finished all of the side quests in Skellige but I hear from people that have done everything in that zone that there is slightly more side quest stuff to do in that area than you found in Velen so a nice chunk of optional content is there too!

Just realized a simple towel gives more protection than a pair of briefs or a white shirt.

"While in Novigrad, Geralt came across a notice offering a bounty for killing a certain White Lady haunting the fields outside the city. The witcher, who was always in need of coin for ... what does he spend his coin on? Armor? Swords? Clips to hold back his hair? At any rate, he was forever short of it, and so he accepted the contract."

I am reading some worrying reports on reddit and CD Projekt forums about a bug that eventually stops you from gaining XP from main quests, a bug introduced with the 1.04 patch. Anyone else ran into that too? Should I postpone my playthrough till a new patch?

Yeah i ran into that problem on my playthrough. Met it in Novigrad at level 16 or something like that. So i have stopped for now. I am guessing the fix will be out quick though.

Has anyone got a youtube link of turning down Yennefer at the end of her personal quest?
I'm chuckling at the thought, and wish to see the results. But I guess I'll have to find out myself, as I doubt when presented with that option, most people would refuse her.
Maybe give it a couple more weeks and people will upload alternate choice videos.
Don't worry, I'll be watching one where the player turns down Triss as well. Except in that situation I'll be crying.

If they ever make a Witcher movie or a Witcher series on Netflix or something, I vote for Mads Mikkelsen to play Geralt of Rivia. Inmy opinion he is the perfect choice. Especially since there is already a movie talks in pre-production.
He looks badass, weird, and yet can look nice when he wants to. There's something captivating about Mads Mikkelsen, something almost not human that is perfect for a Witcher.
Either him of Viggo Mortensen but that would be awkward since he is known as Aragorn.
Who would you folks cast as Triss, Ciri and Yennefer ?
Well since we're on the topic (spoiler due to size):

I wonder why Emhyr gave up on his idea of impregnating Ciri, he was obssessed in the books.
Probably changed is mind on her future simply for the sake of Nilfgaard.

The guy was obssessed with the idea, since Ciri's child is prophesied to conquer half of the world, I doubt he would give up so easily.Probably changed is mind on her future simply for the sake of Nilfgaard.
May CDPR withe washed him to not make Nilfgaard as the evil imperium.

I'm that " anyone ". Actually I can't wait to do that. No offense Yen fans, but she's totally not my taste. I prefer Triss.
Anyway, I'm really in love with Witcher 3. I'm only at 50% ( So I've been told ) and this game is a emotional rollercoaster. With positive feelings. The last game I felt something like that was Mass Effect 3 and yet, most of my feelings were negative, sadly.
I didn't have high expectations from Witcher 3. On the contrary, I though it would be a game filled with empty promises and I was pleasantly surprised. The sad thing is, I had high hopes with DA: Inquisition and DA was... terrible.
I can't wait to see more Ciri, though! ![]()
