Can't wait! TW2's opening trailer was incredible.
Yep, that intro alone won some awards at its release if I remember correctly.
MUHAHAHAHAHAAA!
Nothing will stop the hype train now!!
Teaser for the CGI game intro, which will be showed on friday

I sensed that GIF being used and I was summoned...
So awesome. It all looks incredible. That thing with the bird was gross, though. xD At first I thought the woman was Ciri, but apparently Geralt tracks Yen first.
DAT music ![]()
And Vesemir is bach wooohooo ![]()

It's not like I did that for you or anything...
Baka.
It was great, although I liked Witcher 2 EE intro a bit more. Yennefer looks gorgeous. The man at 1:06 is the same guy we have seen in the killing monsters cgi.
Another interesting note from eurogamer.net:
"
The action takes place near the Temerian kingdom's capital of Vizima, and follows Geralt and his witcher mentor Vesemir in pursuit of powerful sorceress Yennefer - Geralt's long lost love.
Yennefer sent Geralt a letter asking for a meet, but the village they were to rendezvous at was destroyed. Where to next? Geralt - you - must follow the trail."
So maybe the game will start directly after the intro with Geralts search for Yennefer?
Excellent trailer. Looking forward to, The Witcher 3.

Yennefer sent Geralt a letter asking for a meet,
This would have been hilarious if he still had amnesia.
^There probably will be if Geralt needs to kill some people to get to Yen. Maybe he arrives JUST in time to save her from a precarious situation? Unlikely, since she was fine when she suddenly ended up in a war, but you never know.
Meh, TW2 had plenty of strong women as well. I can't really agree with all the complaints.
Impressive trailer, but didn't reach the level of excitement that the TW2 version did for me personally. Still excellent and foreshadows a primary plot in the game quite nicely.
That's why you go with Yennefer for the upcoming waifu-off. Otherwise she'll shove a crow through your eyehole. ![]()
Also, ohai Vesemir. Not that we didn't already know you were appearing.
So maybe the game will start directly after the intro with Geralts search for Yennefer?
Very likely. With the description from Eurogamer and the "Sword of Destiny" Trailer we can pretty much piece the beginning of the game together.

Same here.

Hey, at least we didn´t have to wait months after the game release to watch the cinematic intro.
So did Yenn escape from Nilfgaard or did Emhyr release her?
...somehow I never realized it until now, but that theme they always use when the main title comes up in the trailers is, like, the exact same tune as the one from TW1. Just more bombtastic.
+1 for consistency.

It's kind of how Skyrim just used a Nordic version of Morrowind.
Triss who?
Triss who?
I dunno, I still prefer Triss on looks. We'll see on personality.
Triss who?
I wasn't even Yenn's biggest fan in the books, but I'll be going with her no matter what just because from a narrative perspective the idea of Geralt going with Triss is weird to me.
"Hey, my memory is back, I now know you're the love of my life, Yennefer, and that I pretty much spent an entire novel series with you, sold my soul to the Wild Hunt for you, and tracked you to the end of the world and all, but your old best friend was a pretty good shag when I had amnesia. See you later!"
...will be interesting to see how they handle it, though...and how they handle Yenn, on that note.
