What a LOSER! Cant wait to see how CDP teach him how to make a proper Sci-Fi RPG instead of those freaking colorful endings.
I have no idea who that is supposed to be?

He wasn't serious. I guess he was trying to emphatize how much he wants Cyberpunk.

He's the Producer for ME, I think.

Finally started playing it. I have to say: This game is insane. The gameworld feels so much alive, and the details are stunning. Everything has a story to it. This grumpy, critical, oldschool geezer of a gamer, might just have found a new favorite game.

He was joking around. Contrary to popular belief there is no beef between Bioware and CDPR. Only fan created BS. They do enjoy a friendly rivalry though.
I wrote a bad tweet about DAI ripping off elements form Witcher 2 and then I got the tweet back from BioEvilChris "oh, not on my first day working at CDPR!"

Triss sure is a million times more interesting as a character now than in both previous games combined.
And I just got to Skellige, this place is gorgeous.

Screw your flimsy light armor. When in Skellige, you dress like a Skelliger!

So, I think I'm almost done, finally.
The whole thing has been very satisfying (and long!) so far, so I already feel like I got all my money's worth out of this game. In many ways I really had no idea what to expect from TW3 because my expectation was solely based on the other two games and all the rather aggressive PR had me fearing Witcher 3 would be a "gameplay > story" story approach with all the "3.5x bigger than Skyrim! Open World, no split campaign like TW2." and stuff... but getting towards the end, I feel like this was everything I hoped it could've been and after being grumpy about how Mass Effect 3 turned out for 3 years now, I'm glad that I finally feel like I got that satisfaction I've been craving for ever since. I don't think Witcher 3 will leave me with a hole in my heart or a bitter feeling in the stomach.
Oh, and +1 about Triss. I feel like a lot of her womanlyness from Witcher 1 and 2 was traded off with Yennefer for a more sweet and fragile Triss Merigold in this game, but I honestly liked her a lot better here and I'd be hard pressed to pick Yennefer in subsequent playthroughs. I think Triss is prettier, sweeter and more interesting than Yennefer, and her romance arc was better too IMO.

Anita is a troll, and too many bite on her bait. I've seen enough of her opinions to realize that she's half-listening and not paying attention enough when she's playing games because she goes in to everything with the premise of "let me look for places that could potentially be sexist or misogynist" and she ends up reaching all the time with that approach. She's just in it for attention, and I think everyone is slowly starting to care less about her. (finally)

It is the American way though, isn't it? Force people into your way of thinking and tolerance? Even though Europe functions in a different way and The Witcher 3 is actually set in a fantasy European medieval setting. It is more about respecting others culture and embracing it. And i mean no offense to people born in the US.

Agree, Anita is bascially making a living on her exposures rather than her own ideas. Social justice warriors tends to criticize everything to prevent any creation of games with proper mature context. Bioware has follow this "social justice" bullshit for too long. CDPR great job!

I don't like generalizing, but I do sometimes feel like the US norm is the global norm when it comes to everything LGBT and SJW in gaming, but it also makes sense since the Japanese and European game makers find a lot of potential for success within the US market.

TB got it right when he said Muricans lecturing a Polish dev on how to represent oppressed minorities is the height of hypocrisy. Go look up Polish history, those people went through hell. It's no wonder you see games like Witcher and This War of Mine coming out of that country.

This is pretty legit. Murica lecturing Polish art (i'm gonna refer to TW3 as a piece of art) is kind of a luxury, 1st world problem kind of thing in this context.

Also lol had a few good laughs today when I stumbled upon certain jokes and references. One was A Knight's Tale one, which had the champion of Novigrad at fighting state "You've been weighed, you have been measured and you have been found wanting". In addition to a letter by a Nilfgaardian soldier that started with "Join the army, they said. You will kill Nordlings, they said."

Finally met Thaler, who greeted me that it has been years since we last met. Years? Someone correct me if I am wrong, but it hasn't been that long since TW1. Seems like the game has a hard time knowing whether or not it works as a sequel or not with certain characters.
It's been six months since Geralt left with Vesemir, and TW2 ended a few months before that, and TW2 spanned about a month, there was also a four to six month gap between TW1 and TW2.

It was a month between TW1 and 2 actually, and it is six months after TW2. I wouldn't call that it has been "years" since they have last met. But it is a minor nitpick on my part.
