HA!

That's certainly leave room for him to return, and in case he's still alive, I wonder what he's up to.

Would be interesting if the rumours were actually partially true and he shows up with even more scars.

Or maybe as a cripple.

Interesting, I wonder what happens to Upper Aedirn and Vergen, though, did Nilfgaard conquer it and what of Saskia (In case you freed her).

I have more faith than you thought, Red.  ;)

So fun fact about the 'Witcher' ending to the game that people playing in English apparently missed out on:

Spoiler

Pretty cool

It appears Upper Aedirn was basically stomped on by Nilfgaard. No mention of Saskia though. I'd like to think her and Iorveth are basically doing what Roche is doing for Temeria at the moment, having a guerrilla rebellion of sorts.

Let's Bang Saskia.

Geralt would need to get significantly shorter and grow significantly more beard for Saskia to give him a go.

I couldn't say that I'm surprised, this is as expected. At the very least, I spared Vergen from that swine Henselt. I too like to think that Saskia's peasant army, the Dwarves and the Scoia'tael would be decimated quickly unless they wage guerrilla warfare against the invading Nilfgaardian. I also like to think that Prince Stannis was executed shortly after Nilfgaard conquer Aedirn, should he survive the angry mob.

Y'know something I miss from The Witcher 2 is the arena.

I hope they re-introduce that if they make an Enhanced Edition.

He's mentioned in the files. So I'm guessing he's still alive.

He's a Gwent card now. He will live forever.

Novigrad is awesome.

One of the best cities I've seen.

Feels a lot like Sigil and Athtakla.

Love the little convos you'll hear and the tiny tidbits of interactions you can have with the citizens.

Been there 5 hours and feels like I've only scratched the surface.

Bethesda, take notes.

This is how you do cities.

The storyline in Novigrad is the weakest of them all, but the city is fantastic.

Don't expect me to sing praises to CDPR considering how badly they screwed up.

...errr... what happened?

What meltdown? What did I miss?

You mean lots of buildings you can't walk into ? or the fact that you can run from the gates and up to the top of the city in 3 minutes? Yes i timed that. I rather have a smaller city with more to do than a huge one that doesn't serve the purpose it should. Pesonal opinion ofc.

I think he meant in the sense how alive Novigrad felt.

I personally thought the size was perfect.

Lol, can you usually walk into most buildings in a city? I don't mind having inaccessible buildings that add to the city as a whole.

Meant more in regards to what Bethesda should learn from :) they have the policy that if you see it you can walk there, and if there is a door, you can enter it. Which i like in an exploration rpg. I was abit dissapointed in Novigrad that i couldn't enter more buildings, or use them to run through. Could have made some cool sequenses with that, instead of running errands all over the city and watching the same walls over and over. Just my two bits.

What Milan said and more.

Atmosphere for one. Then design.

Especially design. The way it was built feels organic, you can see where the foundations were, you can tell where the poor live and where the rich go. It's horribly unorganised and messy, just how cities should be.

Novigrad is one of the best designed cities I've seen in an RPG. It puts that lame market that serves as the only place you can explore in DA:I's Val Royeux to shame.
