Well, they loss a great scene, Iorveth on Kaer Morhen and Eredin tries to recruit him and that shows why he has changed too, once he would accept(that think about elves and whatever), not now.

Triss for me, they cut some content from her too, it's not possible.

 

Yeah, Triss disappears from the main story after Kaer Morhen. She has no dialog at all, which is just weird. She doesn't come along for any quests, and she has no additional dialog. Just her generic "Well" as in "This NPC has no dialog right now, go talk to someone else.". People who romanced Triss really got the short end of the stick in TW3.

 

I might romance her on my next playthrough, or I might do a single Geralt. Since I've already seen Triss's romance content in Novigrad, I don't see much of a point in doing the full thing if I get nothing else.

Classic Douche Letho just being a douche. But man.... Is he a BAMF, loved fighting with him against the hunt in the forest with the other Witcher (can't remember his name).

Well, the witcher forum are working hard to get CD Projekt attention about this, I hope they make something, really, romance dlc, afthermath dlc or something.

I am sorry I am not a PR representative and don't only tell you things that are PR approved. I speak from my personal experience and outline reasons why we did what we did. 

 

Please remember I could have just not said anything, but I saw that a lot of people are commenting on this...and a lot of people asking why we don't "just" add some more dialog lines to NPCs for after the game, so I explained why it is not as simple as it may seem.

 

It is always refreshing when a community engages in dialog about a solution to a problem. Often, we may find new ways to approach things, which is why I am here.

 

I will, in the meantime, pass the suggestion of using the last savegame before the final mission as a starting point for the "After Ending" game on. I think this is a good idea that we can look into for a patch. 

 

As for Expansion content after the main game, I will also add that to the feedback. I outlined in my reply why this is a more expansive change/addition, but it doesn't hurt to ask. 

 

In the meantime, thank you for keeping the discussion civil and for the suggestions and feedback!

Place Triss in a flat, Yenn in her room at Kaer Mohren, they dont even need to say anything apart from "Hey Geralt" or something, it's just so you can go on in the world happy with the knowledge they are in it with you.

Although the hope is high. I think a higher up (pretty sure it was the CEO) when they said they wouldn't be talking about Cyberpunk until 2017, and stated "This year and next year belongs to the Witcher" so with any luck, more content!

From what they've said, they're going to work on TW3 for two more years, while they only have two years of expansions planned. They're either going to do more expansions for 2016, or the EE is going to be huge.

No, not more than two expansions. They just said on the forums awhile back that they were going to continue working on TW3 for two more years. I don't see why they'd do that unless they were planning more expansions or were going to do a big Enhanced Edition update.

Inn keepers had the Cherry Cordial IIRC, I'm not 100% sure. I got it in Velen though.

That's a pretty big flaw in the story to me, nothing you do for that fight matters. It would be much better if there multiple outcomes, again from looking at the cut content, it seems like there were originally going to be a few potential ends.

Roche doesnt care about the Wild Hunt, he is there to help Geralt, his first priority will always be Temeria, the one who Letho helped to almost destroy.

His pragmatism can be quite whimpy sometimes tough. Like how Vez has more balls then him when the village goes under siege. Besides, even if he agrees to help Geralt, he is obviously furious to see Letho amongst the crew. So it's not like he just ignores all he did in the past.

Been playing the game since the Monday, been having an absolute blast at it - reached lvl 18 and I haven't even reached Skellige yet or finished all of the Novigrad missions.

 

But..... now I've hit a brick wall, and it's not what I was expecting it to be.

 

Basically, I can't decide who to freakin' romance, Triss or Yennifer. I started playing the series with Witcher 2, so I have a more immediate knowledge of who Triss is over Yennifer (and no, I have not read any of the books) and Triss's sidequests involving the mages was pretty powerful stuff, especially between her and Geralt (like the masked ball and "final" goodbye). On the other hand, I happened to catch some footage of Yennifer's sidequests later in Skellige and.... yeah, you can definitely tell there's a real history and feelings between her and Geralt (even if a large part of that is due to a djinn's wish). 

 

So, I'm stumped at the moment as to who to go with, lol. 

 

 

And fyi, who's f***ing brillant idea was it at CD Projekt Red to NOT include either Iorveth or Saskia in the final game, after their huge potential cliffhangers at the end of Witcher 2?

 Yes, he was very pragmatic when you had the kingslayer pinned down, yet he decided to go after Iorveth and his Scoia'tael instead so Letho could get away. Roche is a hothead and not very smart. I'd say Iorveth is far more clever and pragmatic than him.
