This is what CDPR does. They create awesome characters and then toss them away like garbage. Drives me f*cking nuts. Why in the hell would they not want to follow up on Iorveth??

Time? Budget? Not deemed worthy of return? Though i would have liked to seen Roche, Iorveth and Letho helping me defend Kaer Morhen. Would have made for some interesting scenes.

Dammit.
Wanted to so meet with Kalkstien again.
Heard about his fate.

Another bullshit fate if you ask me.
What are they gonna do next? Saying that Shani got raped by soldiers and killed while she was tending to the wounded on the front?
"You wanted to see Shani again? Too bad!"

Got the recipe, now I need Mandrake and Cherry Cordial and can't find any
. Oh well, I'm going to go from herbalist to herbalist and leave no inventory untouched. I WANT those armor and swords.
Crossroads Inn has one of those two to buy.

Apparently, he's an elf. I mean, seriously. Elfs do not get much love in sequels.

If CDP could add Borch into one expansion, that will be awesome.

Not even Nilfgaard can hope to beat Geralt now that he has an army of pig mages!

The best Geralt moments in the game are when he is put through ridiculous situations and still keeps the Stoic Witcher face. He's the ultimate straight man.
My favorite is still playing Hide-and-Seek with the orphans in Crookback Bog.

The talk here reminds me of Randy Marsh in that one Black Friday Trilogy of South Park that was also a Game of Thrones spoof. His mall security buddies die one by one after he gets to know them.
"NOOOOOO, I REALLY LIKED HIM!" times a hundred.

At least GoT/ASoIaF kills characters on screen. I'd be pretty bummed to learn from CDPR that Iorveth is actually dead, but I suspect they just save him for DLC.

Could be true one, but a sentence by a random elf is hardly something that I'd take as 100% fact.

Likely

Nah, that's Shani.
But I do agree, Iorveth is not dead. I'm not sad he is not in the TW3, because he had no real reason to be there anyway, unlike Roche. Who knows... maybe we will see him again in that Toussaint expansion, given that like Dol Blathanna it's Nilfgaard's vassal.

This is kind of off-topic, but to this day, they cast Sean Bean, and people expected that to end well. It was the most hilariously brilliant casting decision ever.
As to Iorveth, I always wanted him back because I wanted him to call Geralt out for leaving him to basically get burned alive by Phillipa.
