There really should have a been an opportunity to actually bring up Phillipa's threat to Yennifer in the game. It seems weird that Geralt would just shrug it off. Unless these things are a common occurrence with Sorceresses.

Eh, I found Philippa to be rather meh in TW3. Pretty much a caricature of what she was in TW2. But that goes to show, considering how late in the game she was introduced.

A lot should have been brought up in the late game, but alas we got something rather rushed. Also don't know why Philippa had to be the one that we bring to get the Seastone. I was expecting us to have a choice who to bring, considering how Emerin worded it, which could have added something more significant to Triss or Yenn, how they feel about current events, Ciri and Geralt.

Meh. Hoping for an EE to fix this.

It is a common occurrence within Sorceresses. The famous Thanedd coupe is lead by Phillipa, Vilgefortz of Roggeveen(he is huge A-hole), Kiera Matez, Sabrina Glevissig (who got burnt in TW2), Triss (TRAITOR never changed) , with support from Francesca Findabair, intelligence forces from both Redania, Kaedwen and Nilfgaardian Empire to over throw the old Brotherhood of Sorcerers and effectively lead to the death of Yenna's mentor/ mother figure Tissaia.

 

So yup, scheming and backstabbing or frontal stabbing in many cases are part of Sorceresses/ers' occupational hazards. They know what they sign up for.

In case you're interested, this is how it sounds in 8 different localizations. I liked the Polish, English and Russian the most.
