I would love some cape DLC, Geralt needs a cape.
Or just better looking armour.

I'm on board for that idea.
I understand why Triss and Yennefer dress as they do, it comes with who and what they are. But Ciri beeing someone who is aspiring to be a Witcher should really wear some armor. Atleast something like the Cat one. Simple leather armor. I don't know if her looks is made to reflect the books, it is just my opinion.
Ciri never actually wore armor. In Kear Morhen she was a kid and wore mostly some makeshift clothes (and later dresses when Triss arrived there), later she was training with Yennefer and probably wore some high-quality regular clothes. During her time with the Rats (an extravagant group of bandits) she wore over-the-top expensive clothing with lots of jewelry. Her original outfit is probably quite true to her overall style in books.
As to Triss' alternative outfit, it looks suprisingly elfy. Looks like something that Francesca Findabair would wear.
And after mentioning that - Francesca just have to appear in one of the expansions. We have seen every member of the Lodge, save her.
We have Triss and Yennefer obviously. Philippa and Sile were in Witcher 2&3, Sabrina was mentioned and shown in visions in Witcher 2, and Assire was shown in one of the cutscenes. Margerita, Fringilla and Keira were all in Wither 3. Ida was briefly shown in Witcher 3. Only Francesca is missing.
A preview of Ciri's alternate costume that's set to come out next week -
lol at that chainmail tho.
Meh. My main gripe with Ciri is her high heels, but whatever she literally has space magic, so I guess anything is possible lol.

Meh, that looks pretty stupid to be honest. Give her real armor or give her looser clothes, either is fine.
All the alt looks have been ****, they're all just sluttier less practical versions. I think Ciri's is the least overt of the three, but still, nice touch that it kinda matches Geralt's wolf armor though.
Speaking of the DLC, when the are we going to get to meet a Witcher from the Griffin school? Loads of stuff about the cat school, but despite also being from the books we still know almost nothing about the Griffin school. Bear is forgivable since this is the first time it's ever been mentioned.

How many DLC's are left now? 3 or something? I have to admit that it is abit tiresome now, i have put the game on hold to get all the quests in before i do a complete playthrough. Yeah it is done to keep the interest up, works for some, but i had to stop my playthrough :s
Complaining about the frequency of free DLC? I've seen it all now.

Not complaining, just saying that it hasn't made a great impact on everyone. If all these things could have been released with the game they should have done so. Just my opinion.

Just the quality of that armor design which is almost universally panned on their site. No biggie, it's all free.
Those content are simply undone when the game released.
Are you telling me that they brought in voice actors for 10 minutes of mini-quests after the game was released? And you could add the wolf armor at launch with the in game console, it wasn't complete, but it was there. The DLC just unlocked the stats. The alternate looks i can believe they did post game, but i am pretty sure the rest could have been in the game at launch. If it was in production while the game has gone gold it is a poor way to do it, atleast from a game developers standpoint and i don't believe it one bit. I am not ungrateful, i am just not convinced that it was made post game.

Yup I tell you 120M update includes the 10 mins vioce acting, and so far all free DLCs has added 570M additional file. Unless you have solid evidences to prove all these files are already installed within v1.0 of TW3 you better stop accusing otherwise, whether you believe or not is immaterial.

It was most likely made/finished after the game has gone gold, but in most times before release.
And seriously, after BioWare releases 'Spoils of Avvar' DLC, which should probably have been included in 'Jaws of Hakkon' in the first place for $5 I can hardly see merit in criticizing CDPR business practice. Even if they cut minor content from the game, they give it back for free. Other developers do not.
Hell, they cut Sebastian from DA2 (he was Day 1) and asked $10 for him and cut Javik from ME3, also asking $10.
Not to even mention the pre-order/exclusives madness other developers like to do (when you actually CAN'T get a full game experience on a single platform/with one game copy).
There was a sale on Total War games recently, so I went on my Shogun 2 DLC page on Steam, and I saw that all other clans in the game are playable, but for $1.50 (or something like that) each.
So yeah, cut content (assuming it's cut) for free on every platform? Sign me in.

Writing and recording of lines is always done way before launch there is no way they did that post launch, so atleast the the basis for the quests were done. Also you have no evidence that it was made post-game so it is not like we are getting any further on this. I believe one thing, you another. And it is not accusing, it is saying i believe ti could have been included in the launch of the game and it would have been better for it.

Oh i am not defending EA/Bioware, but atleast when they pull stuff like that i can look at it and say "EA". Because it is the publishers that enforce DLC and prices on it. Look at Warner Brothers with the Batman games, i feel bad for Rocksteady for beeing in that situation. CDRP is alone and yes it is free, like i said before i just believe that it should have been in the game at launch, atleast the quests and the wolf armor. I am not ungrateful for the free DLC at all and i am glad for it. I feel like i stepped into the hornets nest here.

I approve of all this Berserk.

The free DLCs are a business practice obviously - they add content that was unfinished in order to basically get free advertisement every week (many game portals write about the game every week because of that). And while I aknowledge this as a mere business practice and not a second coming of Christ, I much prefer their approach to that of EA, Ubisoft, WB, SEGA, Activision etc., because it doesn't hurt me personally in any way, and even benefits me, because some of this content would probably never had been added to the game otherwise. And I can certainly appreciate not having platform exclusives, preorder bonuses and some other riddiculous stuff, that basically comes down to stripping features from certain versions of the game.
That's why I will support it - I want other companies to adopt this/similar business model and abandon practices harmful for consuments.

"The alternate looks i can believe they did post game, but i am pretty sure the rest could have been in the game at launch. If it was in production while the game has gone gold it is a poor way to do it,"
Accuse - claim that (someone) has done something wrong. Don't eat your words. Not to say, you have absolutely not evidences to make such claim.
I'm pretty sure majority of voice work and concept design for TW3's both expansion packs are done at this stage and not released to player. So that should be taken as evidences of TW3's release is "a poor way to do it" as well?

You are picking apart what i am saying instead of trying to understand it. A usual tactic. I get it, you won't let it go so i will just have to concede, fair.
Yeah.
Free DLC that was actually unfinished content beats Priced DLC that was actually unfinished content.
lol @ EA's "spend 8 quid on this cool looking gun!"

lol at that chainmail tho.
You know, I think this is the one alternate appearance I might actually use.
Chain mail mini vest aside, I do like the design. It doesn't seem wildly more conspicuous and less practical than her default outfit, unlike Triss and Yennefer's.
Installed and ready to play.
Time to take the Witcher 2 once more.
Still GOTY in my heart.
