Yeah, this.

 

Apart from the Baron and Dijkstra I was pretty disappointed with of Velen/Novigrad. The King of Beggars didn't have enough exposition, but he certainly was interesting. Menge is just your atypical fanatic with a hilarious talent for self-invented conspiracy and Whoreson Junior was just one big ol' whoreson.

 

House hyped the Crones a lot for me, but I must have done something wrong in the way since they never got attention in my playthrough. I'll remedy that in the future.

Not to mention how boring the Wild Hunt were as antagonists and Aval'ach was a less interesting version of Solas.

 

But Ciri, Yen and oh god, especially Triss plus a number of Geralt's allies and friends got what they deserved and better. I especially liked Pricilla and found her and Dandelion really frickin' cute.

I'm positive king of beggars was meant to play bigger role than he ended up playing. He seemed like he had some big ideas, and big potential, then it's just "lol see ya pal!!!" doesn't surprise me though. Considering how much stuff we know was cut.

 

Last surviving crone is only mentioned if you get the bad end, which I think is really stupid. Should've been an optional quest to deal with her, not just something relegated to one ending.

 

Wild Hunt definitely seemed to be cut down from the looks of the files. Originally you were going to hunt down each member individually, and they were going to attack Novigrad.

 

For me the game really feel apart after Kaer Morhen which is a real shame. Hopefully TW3 gets one **** of an EE.

I've been using Cat School all this time and its done me very well but I figure its only appropriate Geralt be in his school's armor. After I get the Wolf School Gear and get it crafted up to my current level I'll either search for the other diagrams just to clear up my Treasure Hunt section or carry on with the main quest.

I can understand that. My first playthrough took me like 168 hours, and the only place where I kinda ignored the question marks (especially in the ocean) was Skellige.

 

Novigrad was picked clean.

I hope they paid Yenn's voice actor a great deal. She makes every line a work of art, giving it just the perfect amount of the right emotion.

To the people who are somehow annoyed that we will correct the inconsistent consequences that are currently present in the Triss romance I say this: Please understand that this is not a case of us changing something simply because fans want it. This is because fans alerted us to something which we, internally, discussed (hence the long silence in between replies) and eventually agreed that it did not fit our core philosophy of including consequences to the choices the player can make.

In any case, I hope this clears things up a bit and puts a rest to the infighting about which issue deserves what kind of attention.

Now, off to work!"

Even though individually they aren't as developed as the Baron quest i'm enjoying a lot of the Novigrad quests, there's a lot of them and they're pretty memorable (why nobody laugh at my comedy??).
