Interestingly enough, we have an indirect confirmation, that free DLCs are actually made (or at least finished) after the game launched.

If they were ready long time ago, they wouldn't have delayed those due for this week and the previous one (we got only one DLC last week).

That is something, and it means i have to eat my shoe for mouthing off about the free DLC. Looking forward to it.

It could still work if they write in a brain tumor or possession or a curse of some kind. I kept waiting for the explanation to his madness and it never came.

Oh come on. We're talking about a guy who worked with Salamandra (untill they became a liability) in TW1 and straight up tries to murder every mage in Loc Muine if he gets a slightest pretext to do so.

He also orders Philippa's eyes removed, and watches with pleasure as she's screaming.

He was always depicted a psychopath and a sadist, with a great political prowess.

His madness just amplified, because now he has absolute power in the North and is in the middle of a war, he is technically losing.

Power and desperation both corrupt, and he was currupted as hell already.

And yeah, Shani will be in Oxenfurt expansion, just as I thought she'd be.

Now only for Fringilla in Blood and Wine, and we're all set.

I think being tutored by Phillpa is good enough reason to lose your mind. I dunno he is successful in some endings, so it isn't like he is incompetent -- just crazy.

Nah.

Plenty of Monarchs have done stuff like that.

Comes with the territory.

One of the best French Monarchs in history witnessed and issued the burning of Jaques de Molay and all his buddies at the stake.

Radovid was built to be a great leader.

But nothing I'll add hasn't been said by KoP.

so it isn't like he is incompetent -- just crazy.

Well yeah.

But they could have given us proof to that, I mean, here's Radovid, a King of Kings all awesome in TW2 and then we meet him six months later and he's a deranged lunatic who can only think about his mages and has let the Order of the Flaming Rose waaaay out of his leash because "hur de dur maaagus."

It was brilliant bringing them at the talks in Loc Muinne.

Now it just seems like he's forgotten what their purpose really was.

Behold, Iorveth and Saskia are confimed still alive! So they might be back during one of the two expansions.

I hope Iorveth is getting the V he deserves.

And Saskia getting the D she really needs.

It is even more jarring with Radovid how he is depicted as a "brilliant strategist" in TW3, yet the game relies on "tell, don't show" approach to it, and every scene with him regarding political matters (meaning almost none) and regarding leadership qualities, he is an idiotic fool.

Suddenly having Radovid turning mad I could have been OK with had it actually showcased a genuine portrayal of his development since TW2, but there obviously is none of that. But what is the real kicker, is him being politically inept and TW3 contradicting and ignoring aspects that were taken up in TW2.

They've done what they call an "enhanced edition" for both TW1 and TW2, they fix pretty much all the bugs, and add in additional missions. I assume they'll do the same in TW3. Hopefully they go all out and do even more than the previous entries considering this is the last Witcher game with Geralt. More content with your friends (Zoltan and Dandelion), a mission with Eskle like the one we get with Lambert, an appearance from Iorveth, more content with Roche and Ves, a better epilogue (we saw very little, nothing about what happens to Geralt's friends, only Geralt, Ciri, and the world in general) not having Priscilla disappear after the serial killer side quests, and refining the third act a bit as well.

Also minor stuff, like Rita not being covered in dirt the entire game, being able to turn in the bounty Crach gives you on Hammond.

I'm aware of the EE, and I am looking forward to one for TW3, but I'm not eagerly jumping on the wagon myself, simply taking my time and witnessing how CDPR will handle certain issues I have problems with.

Looks like Shani is back in one of the expansions.

Shani?

Meh.

But glad that people who like here can (finally) meet here. Hope they get something more than decent out of her.

Yeah, never doubted they were dead.

Cause that would have been stupid as hell.

Cool to have it confirmed either way.

Saskia is the only girl I'd actually consider over Yen. But alas Geralt isn't a dwarf. Glad they're still around tho. I might actually get to use my Ioverth path save. Ideally she can kill Phillpa in their expansion/dlc too.

edit: Also what happens to Anais if you gave her to Radovid? In both my playthroughs I saved Triss. Google is coming up with nothing not even a codex entry :s.

As far as I have heard, there is nothing about Anais what so ever currently in the game.

I just didn't see the supposed greatness of Radovid in TW2, or his ostensibly being sane. This is a guy who started a genocide in every ending.

I'm aspathic to Radovid alot and even I can see he turned full idiot.

Also when no politcs are involved,m Roche, Dijkstra and Phillipa are great, but once TW3 politics poke its head they fall apart hard.

Que?

Ciri, If she's going to go Witchering she really needs to start banging sorceresses. It's tradition. So Shani's a good first start till she can work up to an actual Sorceress.

CDP should be nice and give us a Shani sex scene. That would be a nice apology.

I'm quite certain, that she will be "romanceable", as a one-night-stand, similarly to Keira.

I'm not sure Shani swings both ways ;). Ciri does though.
