What's wrong with Vesemir in NG+? I haven't noticed any problems.

NPCs like Vesemir's level where not tweaked for NG+, so they won't be real help unlike non NG+. This will make certain areas like

Alot harder.

Oh. Hah. That's probably half the reason why the griffon is so much more difficult now.

Seeing as the scene all depends on how much damage he takes in gameplay,

I am happy that CDP did address this issue tho, going to be fun to play NG+ in the future and have a fun challenge.

Pretty much. Pretty cool though, that even though the majority will never see it, there's actually a consequence for screwing up in gameplay rather than just getting a 'You let Lambert die' game over screen.

You were originally supposed to be able to join the Wild Hunt?

Man. That would have been....interesting.

The wild hunt could have been interesting. Instead we got lame big bad evil teleporting nazi elves, led by a moron who's barely in the game.

Found the serial killer and eternal fire zealot Vampire to be more compelling than Eredin.

Loving NG+, but.... It's super lame that you have to re-aquire ALL the Witcher gear for the legendary sets. You'll have to find the enhanced, the superior, and master crafted gear all over. But they "legendary" lol.

And they look EXACTLY the same as their non legendary counterparts.

Lame.

Very nice article. I just love eurogamer. Their articles are always well written and interesting and their reviews are most insightful because they go beyond the checklist format that so many game media outlets have adopted. They don't only look and a game but also at the context and background. It may not be everyone's cup'a tea but I really like their approach.

Also, holy sh*t!!!! They only stitched the game together in October 2014 and built all the question marks and stuff in 2 months? That's incredible! I can only imagine how bad crunch time must have been. Goes to show what you can do with very little time when you are really dedicated.

Beat TW2 on Dark mode, then you can flex. TW3 is still way too effin easy.

Wait, Lambert can actually die? I kept reading everwhere (official forums, reddit etc.) that his death was cut and never included ingame, apart from some lines of code and his funeral pyre model.

Isn't the video the same like the one where Geralt has to feed Yennefer, that means it has to be unlocked with console? Unless they've restored it back in the newest patches/NG+.

They won't be putting that scene back in, because it takes away from the seriousness of the event at hand. I mean, what they did with Uma...that was painful to watch, and quite dark.

And seeing Vesemir's reaction to subjecting Uma to the trail amplified what I felt.

I disagree. This is the only time where Yen could not eat herself and makes sense that Geralt would feed her. Also it's no more out of place then the dwarves on Isle of Mists so CDP could have a snow white reference.
