They won't be putting that scene back in, because it takes away from the seriousness of the event at hand. I mean, what they did with Uma...that was painful to watch, and quite dark.

And seeing Vesemir's reaction to subjecting Uma to the trail amplified what I felt.

That's not really what I was talking about. I meant the scene where Lambert dies and gets his own funeral pyre. My question was whether it's something actually ingame (despite numerous claims online) or just accesible with console like the afro-mentioned feeding scene. :P

Cool! I remember reading a huge ass thread on reddit that listed all the cut or unfinished content and Lambert's death was apparently one of them.

I guess it was just not available/reachable before because of a bug or they've just restored it recently.

Jubileus willing, they'll add Iorveth to the EE of this game.

Really, I feel act 3 is a case of rushing and bad writing. Stuff like the white frost retcon still would have been bad even if it was not rushed because the concept they wanted is simply dumb.

Same with the politics. Having Radovid be like this is fine in terms of concept. The issue is they went overboard (and his mental state never addressed) and it happens even if you save Triss despite the fact that this ending outright says it taught Radovid and this is entirely dropped. While there was some parts that where rushed, some parts are badly written because CDP simply messed up and stuff like that I doubt will be fixed, at most they'll fix things that suffered from rushing. Like I doubt we'll ever get different versions of Radovid to fit the ending of tW2 despite the fact we should.

Using whirl on Eredin is the most satisfying thing ever.

To the EE version of the game they've stated multiple times isn't being developed, unfortunately :(

They're bringing Shani back for the expansions, I see no reason why they couldn't bring Iorveth back too.

Kinda doubt Iorveth would be integrated into the main plot in an EE or something in any event, the Scoia'tael were kinda unimportant this game. Would be cool for him to be added as a new Kaer Morhen ally, though. Maybe he can bring Saskia along...though then the battle would be a bit easier, lol.

Peeps seem to forget that the original announcement stated the expansions would feature 'dearly missed' characters. I would think that probably includes more than just Shani.

Eredin looks pretty boss, standing there and deflecting the flurry of blows casually.

But, have they really said no EE is in the works? That would be a bummer. It was a bit of a series tradition, and TW3 could benefit from that hugely (mostly in Act 3, like it benefited TW2).

They haven't said there won't be an EE, but they also haven't said there will be one. I think it's just a matter of time before we know anything for sure. If I remember right, it took them 10+ months to announce the EE for Witcher 2.

I'd really take whatever CD Projekt says with a grain of salt now. They've said that NG+ won't be any time soon because it's "complicated to implement", and there we go - 16th DLC.

EE was also not announced right away for TW1 and TW2 (they also said that there was no EE planned for the second one), and we got 'em anyway. :P

CDp has stated there are some somethings they are not happy with TW3 and while some are not fixable (white frost retcon for example) some are so I think EE will come sometime after the expac since CDp has said they'll also continue support next year too. Why keep support for a whole year if the expac comes early next year? Clearly more plans.

Yup. They explicitly stated they would be supporting it for the next two years or so, so we can expect full support throughout 2016 as well.

They also said they have plans to support TW3 in 2016 past the expac.

They also said they would not do a EE for tW2, we got a EE for tW2.

They also said they wouldn't do NG+ and had no plans for it. Literally weeks before it was confirmed.

Iorveth's probably chillin' in Kovir, practicing his flute

Nah, him and Saskia are probably at Blue Mountain, since it's the only true safe area for non-humans during the war (like how Kovir is a safe heaven for mages)

Iorveth was apparently supposed to show up in Novigrad according to the recent leak. Like he was hiding somewhere in the city (underground, IIRC).

He was but it was cut, and since him or Saskia can't be found, safe bets are them being at the blue Mountains.

Helping Iorveth and Saskia take back Upper Aederin after the Nilfgaardians drove them out sounds like an expansion of its own tbh.
