Pretty much the only non-Japanese game I'm interested in for all of 2015...
Although I guess I'd have to get a new computer to actually play it, seriously what's with the Witcher and turbo computer requirements?

Who knows... when I saw that the game would be 40 gigas was amazed, I hope it is 40 gigs of a good story and not only map.

First of all: AMAZING!
Second of all: It's interesting to see that Vigor now no longer recharges in bars and instead slowly recharges in a single bar. Does this mean we'll be able to use more magic?
^Wasn't it like that in TW1 as well?

I honestly can't say, I've only played TW2.

Well, looks like they're going back to the first game in that regard. ![]()

Love how the armor and animation looks. Seems we can dodge and roll this time.

So beautiful ![]()

Both games regenerated much slower than what we've seen in TW3. Which is what I liked, it emphasized getting preparation right. If you f*cked that up you were screwed. Of course, they may have it on easy, with buffs going and whatnot.

Here's what we'll be doing a lot of I think. I love this armor, it's low key and reminds me of his TW1 outfit.
Tawny Owl potion made vigor regenerate pretty quickly in the first game. It did take really long without. And that's a nice screenshot. the background almost looks like a painting.

I'm also glad to see that there seems to be a greater variety of armour in this game. While I liked the armour in TW2 there was basically only 3 different designs just with different colour schemes.
Very nice, very nice indeed. May can't come soon enough. Might even replay TW1 and TW2 now that I have a stronger computer to run the latter one.

That tiny bit of game play in that vid has me way too excited. It just looks so good. The embargo lifts on the 26th, and hopefully we get a bit more footage.
Just hope it doesn't spoil anything
Have they said anything about save importing and people moving across platforms?
I will probably be playing this on PS4 and would like to continue with my choices from my PC copy of TW2.

My favorite part because my biggest complain about Inquisition was the terrible questdesign: I hope the can keep their promises.
"But what has been most important for us is the story. We want to have an open world game where you still want to follow the story. Every side quest, every activity has that quality. We won’t have you going to the forest to get five wolf pelts. Every little thing will tell a story.”
And a new screenshot:
I don't think that's a jab at Bioware, they've been emphasizing this fact from the beginning and no doubt they're aware they did the same thing in TW1. 'A sack full of fluff' quest in TW2 was them joking about it.
It's just their usual belligerent shot at Bioware. They have one every time they follow up on a Bioware product that they're compared with since pre-TW2. I can't remember what their shots at ME2/3 and DA2 were but I vaguely recall they related to reactivity and the ending.
That said it may be that part of the reason for the delay comes from seeing the reaction to this style of quest which was pretty common in TW2.
We must have played a different game then because I don't remember that many side quests in TW2 that were the stereotype MMO-style fetch quest. Most of them had a non-linear structure and branching paths. In fact, I literally can't think of any apart from the contract board quests where you blow up a few nekker nests and such.
"Renowned bounty hunter -- Djenge Frett."
lol
The details are quite nice, and this is on Xbox. Can't wait for how the PC looks. Also, really enjoyed the portrayal of Nilgaard in that second video. Always reassuring to see that they will not simply be viewed as the "big bad conquerers". The Witcher is quite great in portraying factions from different angles, and I am glad it is following suite in TW3.
