Siegfried is the broest of the bros. The lack of a bro-hug option when meeting him in Loc Muinne in TW2 was a crime tbh.

Talking about art and stuff, anyone seen those CE steelbook covers? Goddamn, they're glorious.

Siegfried is a good man through and through. One thing that makes him very endearing (and ultimately my fave character of the games) is how he starts off being such a naive and idealistic "Paragon" boy scout  in such a grimdark setting.

and who could forget this?

Pfft. Don't side with the Order and he'll call Geralt a mutant while he has two of these guys standing right next to him:

Have you seen the cosplay for it, Chewin?

Some of them are really awesome.

*snip*

I haven't actually. That one is pretty rad.

Heh, I really loved that turn of events actually. He comes across as this "bro" kind of figure, and doesn't shun Geralt like the others at first impression, but when you don't see things his way, he turns and does exactly that.

Still love Sigfried though.

That's why Vernon Broche is the best Bro.

You could say "f*ck Temeria" infront of him and he'll still pay for your hooker.

What a dude.

It will be interesting to see what happened to Roche.

That scene really surprised me. I wasn't really sure what happened at first, but then I realized he probably just wanted to jump over the gap and instead, crashed through the bridge alltogether. With an epic 10/10 landing. :P

I also agree. Even if you betray him, he still helps you and saves your life like 2 times. I could however never justify joining Iorveth either way, unless I was thinking of some out-of-character RP reasons..

Strangely enough you really have to do Iorveth's path to appreciate the bro that is Roche.

You sided with his worst enemy, a terrorist, mass murderer...but the dude can still see reason, still has your back. Still helps you out in the Kaedweni Camp.

Vernon Broche. Top bro. Also a f*cking boss.

 Letho>Roche

He helped Geralt to track and fight the Wild Hunt. He helped to rescue Yennefer and took care of her. He didn't kill Geralt althought he had the chance and depending on your choice he saved Triss. Additionally he is at least equal to Geralt in strenght and cleverness.

I can't wait to meet him in Witcher 3 and hopefully ally with him this time.

If he shows up (taking into account the trailer ) have to take into account the reason:

I still consider Roche to be better, given his normal, non-witcher, pragmatic nature and the fact that he's always going againts the odds and surviving or getting the job done (either with you or on his own) and his intense loyalty. He's basically like John McLane or Jack Bauer of the Witcher world.

Not bad. For someone who is not a superhuman.

Letho is cool and all, but I killed him in my canon save import. So there's that. :P

Also, more of his badassery:

That's a good question. If I had to speculate I would say that maybe even if Emhyr kept his promise there is no reason for Letho to stay in the south. Serrit, Auckes and the 4th unknown witcher got killed during their assassinations. The two other Witchers Letho talked about could be dead. Letho even said, he heard nothing from them for years. He could be the only living witcher in the south and it's rather difficult or even impossible to rebuild a witcher school if you are alone. In the Sword of Destiny Trailer we saw him with the witchers from the wolf school in Kaer Morhen. Maybe he prefers to stay with other witchers in the  North rather than being alone in the south. He could also feel guilty towards Geralt, considering Geralt being accused the kingslayer and the other events of Witcher 2 were his fault (althought that's debatable) and now want's to help him to save Yennefer/Ciri. We also know from the last conversation between Letho and Geralt, that there is a focus of the school of the Viper on the Wild Hunt (Letho said, that he thought his school was founded to reseolve the mystery of the Wild Hunt, considering how many books about them they had). So maybe he sees his chance to finally "solve" the Wild Hunt problem

Indeed. He is formidable in both paths.

Also that .gif cracks me up every time. I still don't know what's funnier; him jumping over an obstacle only to fall right through the bridge, him managing to quickly adapt and use it to his advantage to take down the Kaedweni soldier, or him simply saying "F*ck!" as he falls through :D

Hey now, Letho is without a doubt a badass on so many levels, but one can appreciate Roche also for what he is ;)

Still though, that last confrontation with Letho is undoubtedly one of my all time favorite 'face offs' with an antagonist in a game series.

Yeah I understand it. I think that actually working with Roche throught the whole game and seeing his actions many times helps to sympathize with him more than with Letho, who we only meet 3 times in the game and is somehow the antagonist. But still, for me Letho is the biggest bro, because well... he is a fellow witcher and he was involved in the events which are important for Witcher 3 (Yennefer, Wild Hunt). Therefore I was very happy seeing him in the Sword of Destiny Trailer. I think he is a very well written character and one of the best antagonists I have ever met in a game.

Just out of curiosity. I you have done a playthrought after knowing that Letho will appear in Witcher 3 (maybe you did), would you have killed him in your playthrought anyway?

I think Emhyr will fulfill his word, but in HIS way. If Letho returned to the South, he probably found something on the Wild Hunt and need other witchers to help him, if he not returned to the South, it must be because the Emhyr not fulfilled his part of the bargain. I would like to quote it was not for nothing, I hope the fact that he quote other witchers means something. He said he would never see Geralt again, I think just something of great importance would make him return.

Hmm, I probably would because I always welcome more content in subsequent games. I can still do it however, because I have TW2 installed and a backup saves just before choosing Triss or Roche and before confronting Letho.

Think I should let him go this time? :P

Well, aren't you curious why he travels into the north again, althought he promised that Geralt would never see him again?

I don't know how CD Project Red will handle it, but I guess there won't be any "alternative" content if you kill Letho (like in Mass Effect 3 , if you killed Wrex in Mass Effect 1, his brother replaced him) So you probably just cut content with your choice. Altought that's just speculation. We don't know what role Letho will play.

I hope it's not the same as Leliana, and he probably will not have much importance as he may be dead, perhaps a side quest? Now if they can put him with an importance for those who not killed, that would be interesting.

Well The Order Of The Flaming Rose has committed a few "bad" things, have they not? But he seems like he'll take it in a new direction.

Hopefully Roche has a big part to play in TW3. He was IMO the best side character in TW2. Also one of the funniest!

Love the swearing in this game.

Makes people feel more real.

Especially a military dude xD

The use of "f*ck" was perfection.

The funniest thing Roche said was that if Dethmold had put his hands on Anais he'd kill the son of a ****** all over again, lol. I still can't get over what he did to Dethmold though. CDPR should have given us an opportunity to intervene like they did with Henselt, or to ask Roche to kill and not mutilate him. That's one of the grimmest things I've seen in a game.

The thing is Letho is one of those characters where he could fit almost anywhere in TW3's plot, whether it's main or side quest.

I'm pretty sure they won't abandon him, not only we already saw him SoD trailer, but he is one of dbest characters and antagonists ever.

How cool would it be to have Geralt, Letho & Emhyr in the same room and just discussing stuff. This is just me thinking out loud, but if Letho teams up with Geralt to take down Wild Hunt i'l be more than satisfied with his apperance even if it lasts for just 5 min, similiar to when Berengar helped you kill Azar Javed if you spared him in TW1.

Now that you quoted Berengar, may be the exactly way, whatever the quest, can be this for example: Witchers fighting against the wild hunt, for those who left Letho live will receive help from him in the fight.
