I keep being blown away by the details on the clothes. Nothing is flat and drawn on anymore. The ropes crossing over his chest and even the tiny cords all look 3D. It's amazing.

If CDPR takes full advantage of what hardware tessellation has to offer, details will be great everywhere when that setting is on max.

Replaying and recording my new playthrough of the first game. (Check the DA character names in my sig to find my channel)

It really is a whole lot easier to get through the first chapter when you know what you're doing. I do enjoy this game, but the problems are still evident. The first two chapters take forever to make you feel like you're making any progress in investigating Salamandra. 3 is great and 4 is fantastic, but the latter feels very tangential. Not to mention the whole Lady of the Lake business feels very discordant with the overall tone to me. And with the odd exception, the monster design makes me feel like I'm playing 50 shades of undead.

Still, love the game. I place high value on the opportunities to define Geralt's disposition. This is something Bioware could learn from: instead of focusing on consequences, design some choices purely to let the player define themselves. Any word on determining decisions from past games for PS4 in TW3?

I liked the way we will be able to import the save. ''Tell Your Story'' I find interesting, but apparently only the choices in TW2 will make ''some'' difference.

As long as I can say I was neutral, saved Adda, helped Iorveth and saved Saskia, I'm good.

I say the same, same choices as yours. The only difference is that the first time I finished the game I saved Triss, but in my '' official '' save will be the one I saved Saskia.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to import into TW3 the first time. Probably my Flaming Rose/Roche playthrough first. I don't really have one path I consider 'canon' in the Witcher for me.

Neutral path Witcher 1 and Iorveths path in WItcher 2 with saving Triss and thus the Mage Conclave at the end import is probably the one I am using in my first playthrough. After that I will try different combinations ^_^

Hmm, will probably roll Neutral Path, Roche Path with Triss saved as my first choice.

Then I have to choose whether I go Roche Path and Anais handed to Radovid or Iorveth Path with Saskia saved for second playthrough.

The line in that picture made me laugh way more that it rightfully should have.

Just found this :

If Geralt looses the fist fight at the beginning of act 1 this happens:

and this is Triss whole reaction:

Seriously disappointed by Triss(and CD Project Red). Definitely a huge disadvantage for Triss when it comes to the Yen/Triss choice in Witcher 3.

Naaaaaaaaah, this is Triss [and CDPR]'s reaction to the player losing QTE fistfight :P Seriously, anybody ever lost one of those?

Neither does Roche do anything. Or Dandelion or Zoltan. I kinda view that as a small easter egg, since that scene really makes no sense. And I don't see why that alone would constitute a "huge disadvantage" for Triss when it comes to choosing between Yen and her.

I care rat's ass if Yenn is official love interest or not. My Geralt will make that decision depending on what kind of character she is. And if she 'disappoints' me and Triss doesn't manage to bring anything to the table, it's perfectly possible my Geralt won't choose either.

Roche is not close to Geralt. They know each other a few days and Roche just needs him to capture the kingslayer. Zoltan and Dandelion can't do anything, considering they are going to be hanged as well. Triss has a close relationship and a very long history with Geralt and then she just let him being kileld by some pricks? She could have easily freed him (there weren't even that much soldiers)

I definitely favored Triss before i have seen this, but now, I don't know. Although I consider to treat this as non-canon because of very bad writing. Books Triss would never just let him just die. Same can be said about games Triss (if we count out this scene) Treating this as a easter-egg sounds good as well.

Hence why that scene makes no sense. Roche going over the trouble to save Geralt only to have him hanged either way is just confusing, and as you said, Triss standing back despite their relationship is even more so.

It's just a fun easter egg, nothing more.

Yeah I remember reading back in 2012 on the Witcher forums that they added it for fun, same with the scene in the jail with Roche.

It is an Easter egg.

Being turned into a pincushion by Iorveth's archers is pretty funny too. Don't make the angry elf even angrier. :P

Yeah but these two scenes make sense. Geralt is accused of murdering Foltest and provokes Roche > Ves kills him

Iorveth considers Geralt as a enemy, because he helps Roche, Geralts provokes him -> Iorveths archers kill him

Same can't be said about Triss reaction. If it's a easter-egg then it's a stupid one and shouldn't be in the game.

This is exactly how I feel. Me choosing Yenn over Triss will depend entirely wether I like her or not.

I like those moments. Unlike most games, you can't just bullshit your way through every conversation.
