Holy cow, a syndicate of murderers backed by an evil wizard is after this poor kid! Now to whom should I send him for protection? A sweet medic chick? Or a sorcerer who seen plenty of action (wink wink)?

That's why I only have one Shani playthrough.

I don't think Shani is a bad character btw. I absolutly loved her.

She's not a bad character. That choice is just really stupid, considering the circumstances.

The Witcher 1's sex "scenes" were hilarious and childish.

*snip*

I still laugh at that one elf girl who rewards Geralt with sex due to you bringing her a loaf of bread. Talk about gratitude.

Its good to hear there are still some people who love the Triss romance :P Everybody either seemed to prefer Shani or are hoping on the Yenn train.  <_<

What's not to like. It is kinky, quite beautiful with its location and hilarious (with the dwarf and elf telling the story about the place while you hear Triss moaning in the background).

Still on the fence with Yennefer. Will see what kind of character she is if I'm gonna jump the boat.

I like the Triss romance because it isn't exactly romantic.

Well, the Witcher one has a laughable romance.

The Witcher 2 handled their relationship a lot better. You could SAY that YOUR Geralt does love her, but it isn't really 'lovey dovy.' So when you chose to save Triss, it leaves the whole 'romance' crap out and makes it a far more grounded adult relationship between two personalities who aren't really meant to be in a single place at any one time.

I'm still waiting to see how Yenn is gonna turn out as well. Right now I have no reason at all to abandon Triss for Yenn (I don't care about book canon), so Yenn's character is gonna have to convince me to leave Triss for her.

The only thing I know about Yenn is through the Last Wish + Blood of the Elves. So I don't know her really well, it'll be interesting to see the reactions of those who do.

I actually didn't like Triss in The Witcher 1. Her character in W2 was a lot better.

But I'll stick with Triss in W3. The Geralt I'm role-playing is a one woman man, lol.

You like "Miss Damsel in distress my whole purpose int he game is provide Geralt another reason to go after Letho" Triss?

Eh, the romance crap can be involved in her rescue if you pick certain dialog options.

I'm ready to throw both of those women into what ever constitutes as a bin in the Witcher universe and focus on what the Witcher seemingly do best -- The seeds of intrigue in its plot and impactful decisions that feel complex.

The writers are gonna have to find a way to introduce her to the people that haven't read the books and see if they like her and make sure they stay true to her character from the books for those fans.

I thought the witcher series was about going to the pub and playing dice poker?

Well atleast you're not hopping on the Yenn train like most do :P

"Hopping on the Yenn train"... Pfft, Yenn is the love of Geralt's life, Triss is just the rebound chick  :P

I am very excited for TW3, just hoping for some solid way of importing my choices since I'll be playing it on the PS4

Dice poker paid for the gear that saved the world.

Show some respect!

The Witcher series is something you'd get if you took the corpse of J. R. R. Tolkien & George R. R. Martin, ground it into a fine powder, and snorted it off the doughy breasts of a prostitute.

The police will probably want to talk to you, and you just made Mrs. Tolkien your enemy.

That is also a likely scenario. Not to mention the rather vocal outcry of the entire ASoIF fanbase sighing in unison over another dreadful delay of the books.

I'll take an intelligent, nuanced conversation with Emhyr over romance with either woman any damn give day.

Also hearing Charles Dance talk offers for some earporn.

I'm still hoping they won't turn him into a villain. Only if you maybe make certain choices.

But Geralt and Emhyr seem to have a large amount of respect for each other and they do got quite some history. So I rather hope they won't go the villain route with him at all  :P

Well yes, but I am more afraid he won't be portrayed as that magnificent bastard he was in TW2, where he managed to outwit the entire north and doing so without even making an appearance. Seeing him finally reflected as a character and his ultimate goals in the war will be interesting and hopefully given justice.

I have faith they'll do his character justice, but I can understand your fear ;)

I think the fact that Charles Dance voices him will help alot as well. He seems like the perfect choice.
