I'm pretty sure Vesemir's VA is the same. The other, higher quality times we've heard him (like the announcement trailer, Killing Monsters, those gameplay snippets) it sounded very much the same.

Maybe his new look is throwing me off. I didn't realize who it was until I saw his name in the subtitles.

I'd be keen to see some uncompressed footage. IGN compression is worse than youtube's.

He became really buff all the sudden, but facially I still recognize him, tbh. The handlebar mustache is still there and all.

Kinda annoyed me how the person playing just wandered off and did some sidequests in the middle of something. Poor Vesemir was probably hanging around outside the tavern for hours wondering where the hell Geralt went. :S

GOG is also having a 48H promo for current Witcher titles going up to about 85% off

Horse combat looks great. I'm glad they included it.

PC or Xbox One? Either way it looks good, but not this good

Spoiler
. Whoever

Is that actual real gameplay though? It uses the engine clearly but I feel the whole sequence is a scripted scene before CD Projekt settled on their current build.

Graphics look great regardless. I find it funny reading some YouTube comments calling the graphics "rubbish."

Here is the description of the two expansions and what they will contain.

Spoiler

So an additional 30 hours with the two expansions combined? Pretty neat, considering TW2 got me around 27 hours, IIRC.

Everything in trailers are usually always so heavily choreographed, that the demonstrators might as well be waving a conductor's baton, examples like say.. any recent gameplay trailer of an Ubisoft game; One that springs to mind would have to be Unity's E3 trailer from a while back.

All in all, Witcher 3's gameplay seems very fun. I enjoyed the combat in the second game more, anyway.

Toussaint is a very interesting region in the novels.

It may be that to avoid downscaling crituques they're showing off the title at console graphics levels rather than at PC Max settings.

Yeah, I'm very hyped for Toussaint. While reading the novels I always imagined it as somekind of "Disney/Fairy tail" place full of people celebrating the whole day. The title "blood and wine" certainly sounds promising.

I thought CDProjekt said no paid DLC? Will the expansion be free?

That was early gameplay when the game was first shown.

16 DLCs will be free, the two expansions costs 25 bucks for the season pass.

You will need to purchase the Expansion pass ($25 US but people in different regions are reporting higher prices)

A lot of people on the GOG forums are actually cancelling there Pre-Orders because of this.

That's what happens when you push the rhetoric in a way that contradicts possible business needs. I'm sure CDPR will talk about the amount of content in an expansion vs. DLC and what sets the two apart (one imagines with their brand of potshots at other developers). I'm actually curious to see how it will be received. CDPR has been excellent at spinning potential PR disasters away.

People will complain about anything really. I cant remember a game release that did not have complaints about something.(lol DAI was such a fun release) Gamers are, by and large, very whiny. And the vast majority of "Im cancelling my pre-order" people are full of ****.

Anyway, I dont care. Will play the game, and pay for the expansions. This game is worth it.

It's PC high settings just like every 2015 footage. The gif version of the game is long gone (cuz potatoes) but bringing it back is a trivial task for any and all* mustard race members.

It doesn't make much sense going there without him, now does it? Lots of drama potential would be lost.

Anyway, still waiting for my Ciri In the City of Golden Towers DLC/expansion.

I'm looking forward to the game and this expansion pack isn't going to push me away but we have a downgrade to graphics and two $25 expansies packs. Wonder if there will be a shitstorm.
