That would be a nice feature, considering the fact that it will be a lot easier for players to see the difference between certain scenes that is affected by our previous decisions. There would be no need for a whole new playthrough just to see a scene play differently.

And thankfully those of us on consoles don't have to miss out on messing with decisions made.

I think Geralt will only tell what is needed, the same system will have to pc, so if you do not have  save to import, you will have this system.

Be like, "Yo barber, Iorveth was the tightest of dudes, he was mad chill"

Later on with Dandy,

"Brah Iorveth was a real mother*expletive*, *expletive* that right *expletive*"

Dandy-"But you told the barber-"

"MAN *EXPLETIVE* THE BARBER, LOOK AT MY HEAD"

How about the sex scenes? Geralt will have to be thorough  :P

Yeah, I'm actually moving on PS4 for this one. I don't want my PC to die.

Well, looks like we will have a greater religious role in this game.

I'm upgrading my GPU for TW3, it's about time anyway. If I oc'd I could probably get another year out of it.

I went from 360 to One just as a natural progression. Really looking forward to more Witcher. :)

I was going to get a PS4. Sony wasn't running any deals for them at the time I was upgrading. I found Xbone for $299 while PS4 were over $400. I went ahead and got the Xbone. Very happy with it so far. It will be awhile before I get a PS4. I got my Xbone and Wii-U. I am set as far as consoles go.

Can't go wrong with any of them right now, far as I can tell. Well, unless you were planning to play TW3 and only had a Wii-U. :P

I don't even have a console right now, none of them offer me anything interesting. I might get a PS4 down the line. Or a Wii U when they're dirt cheap, I mildly suspect Nintendo might be releasing/announcing a new console in 2016. Just because they've said they'll be showing no 2016 games, and that the new Zelda has been pushed back.

I don't see myself getting a bone, MS isn't offering any exclusives I'm interested in.

I could never fully go back to console gaming after PC though, which is why I'm waiting till they're cheap. Because I know they'll be collecting dust 80% of the time.

Thing is I am a console player. I try my hand at PC Gaming and it just wasn't for me. I would suspect Nintendo would get a new console out prob by 2017 or 2018. Wii-U still has a lot of very good games. Then you got XenoBlade Chronicles X and the new Zelda Wii-U game which look incredible.

It would have been interesting if they could have got Witcher 3 on Wii-U. Wii-U surprises me at how well some of their games have look.

Regarding TW3 romances, and I'm not sure if this has been posted here, a dev had this to say.

"Building relationships in TW3 is way more complex than in TW2. When it comes to romancing, we put a lot of effort to make it non-linear, and we require some effort from the player.

You may build friendship, you may build romantic relationship, you'll be used and you can use the girls if you want to. Choices have consequences.

You may have meaningless sex, but love is not easy. Want her to love you? Try to understand her needs first, don't hurt her feelings, take care of her. It's a long process. And we have "let's talk about us" chats, but they are always part of the story."

Sounds neat.

Also confirmed that you can disable executions in the options menu as well as adjust the hud size, and disable some/all options.

I think they may be talking up the romances a bit much there but we'll see once the game comes out.

Would be awesome if they legitimately required more effort to keep.

I think when they speak of romance, refer to Yennefer and Triss, I do not think if will be another choice.

If you listen to the vampire that asks if it's 1358 yet, you can hear it's the same VA as Iorveth.

I imagine at some point it'll come down to having to choose between those 2. In which case, I'll take the obsessive Redhead please.

Speaking of Vampire's, Geralt travelled with one in the Novels. I was trying to look up his name, but rumours have floated he could be making an appearance in Witcher 3.

That's the one! And yep, he sure is. But I'd be quite content if the rumour turned to be true.

Apparently the devs neither confirmed or deny this. During the Sword of Destiny trailer, when you see Geralt/Yennefer/Triss on the boat/ship, there is a masked character in the background, which people have been pointing to to be Reghis.

It's a grain of salt, but if it turned out to be true...

If you really want to know, I have read the character list from the leaked documents last year

Spoiler

I wonder, is there anything in those leaks that has remained significantly spoiler-y to this day?

And thankfully those of us on consoles don't have to miss out on messing with decisions made.

You miss out on a sweet, sweet tattoo doe...

Nah, it'll be like this

I've been thinking about getting the game. I read that characters and story will be introduced in a way that won't make the new players feel lost (being me). So my question is that, will there be a interactive comic (sorry if this has been answered there are 69 pages of stuff) like with ME2 and 3? I know that I can probably watch the first two games on youtube, but I won't have a save file or anything like that. (ps4 user)

Geralt talks about the events of the first two games in the beginning and when he's telling his story you can choose what events happened.

From what I hear anyway.

Without playing TW3 I can't confirm if it will happen or not but there is a good chance the game will have some sort of an artistic cinematic covering events of the first two games leading into TW3 before the gameplay even starts.

Thats just a hunch, though. Basically what I'm saying is, you can go into TW3 not knowing anything about the other games and be relatively alright, though playing the 2nd game will help quite a bit and playing all of them including the first will be ideal.

That sounds like how they handled a form of Save import in Mass Effect, with that comic thing they did.

I think thats mainly for consoles, however on the pc, I'm pretty sure we have save imports, as well as the option to choose events that Geralt speaks of. Which I might end up choosing myself if I can't get a Witcher 2 run done/find a save online to download. And the chance to listen to Geralt again? Yes please.

I'm upgrading my GPU for TW3, it's about time anyway. If I oc'd I could probably get another year out of it.

What GPU are you aiming for may I ask?

I'm hoping I don't have to upgrade until I next build a rig.

I don't think I can overclock my one either. It's the 3GB 780 Ti Superclocked edition, so I hope Witcher 3 runs well with it.

However if new gpus are needed for direct x12, I'll most likely upgrade. It'll be a wait and see approach.
