I'm upgrading from a 7870. TW3 is still saying 770 for high, but they've also revised and said a 980 with an i7 can run ultra with all effects at 1080p and 60fps. Whereas before they were saying you'd get about 40 with that.
That's promising; I'll be playing at 1600p which requires a bit more horsepower than a 780Ti can manage so I'm glad I went with dual 980s over the holidays. CPU is an i7 at 4.5ghz so I'm good to go.

So there was a romance achievement for Keira Metz in that list you linked some pages earlier? (don't want to read them, as there are heavy spoilers)

Yeah, my 4770k is clocked to 4.2, and my 780 ti Superclocked is just sitting here heavy breathing at the idea of running W3. Hopefully there'll be some benchmarks released soon.

If I remember the novels correctly both are.
According to the wiki:
"She makes aphrodisiacs and is considered to be a nymphomaniac, at least by Sabrina Glevissig."
Well, several people drop some insinuations about her but- NO! I refuse to believe that! She is a good lass, I've always had a soft spot for her kinda childish manners and sincerity. ![]()
Thanks for reminding me of the achievement title, it pretty much proves Reds remember Geralt's debt as well. ![]()

Yeah, the optimization for TW3 was originally looking shaky as ****. CDPR was saying 770 with an i5 for 30 FPS at mid-high, which is frankly unacceptable.

There was a rumor about Fringilla too and in the forums one of the producers said she was in the games, but will not have romance with her. If I remember correct.
''Subplot'' I imagine that referred the side-quest that has a greater importance than the other sidequest. e_e

I wonder about the rest of the Lodge since some of them are supposed to be dead by 1273, notably Philippa. Would be a shame not to see more of dem lovely sorceresses. I'd be actually glad this time if Reds ignored canon and let us see Phil with the correct import (one without a witch hunt).
8 pages in 2 days?
Slow down, whoa. *finger gesture* *eyes flash*

Yeah I'm curious to see some benchmarks. Their press blitz is gearing up so I assume we'll see some info soon.

I'm guessing there will be at least one ending where Geralt dies.

Why? CDPR says they're done with him after this and there will be four completely unique endings.

Never mind then. Guess that could be an ending, I just can't fathom it. When I imagine the endings, I think of them as being different end states for the world that he lives in, where he continues on.

They said four world states, with variations in each ending.

Little things , for example, minor characters who die and etc, think nothing very important.

They said we will be able to do sidequests after finishing the game, which basically confirms Geralt won't die. Ciri in the other hand.....

In InFamous we have this option, but there is a final that Cole dies.

Well it's always possible but highly unlikely. They also announced 2 addons with Geralt.

I'm with you on that. I do not think they will end the life of Geralt, I think that's something to the author. I still consider the games canon.

One therefore not, they say it's a place ''untouched by the war''
