By the way, anyone here put any weight to the theory that Alvin was Jacques de Aldersberg?
It's still considered to be only a theory? I always thought they couldn't make it clearer without actually saying "Alvin is indeed de Aldersberg"

I basically came to that conclusion when Alvin's amulet was found on Jacques at the end of the epilogue.
Thimk Alvin might be back in some fashion in TW3?

Apparently. Its hinted so much you'd think CDPR would admit it.
I Think not, they already have Ciri.
I think the Alvin=Jacques de Aldersberg is pretty well built up, enough so that, while it isn't 100%, I'd say it's what CDPR is going for.
I'm guessing it was that time I sent him to bed early that made him decide to become an interdimensional genocidal racist. Parenting is rough business.

Well, the only way would be as a Rider of the Wild Hunt. But that would only work if you gave his body/soul to the King of the Hunt at the end of Witcher 1. But I don't see a reason why they should do this. I think the whole Witcher 1 story is rather standalone and Alvin was just a replacement for Ciri just like Triss was a replacement for Yennefer (Triss has the personality of Yen in Witcher 1)

He just wanted to ensure all kids could go to bed when they wanted! *cries*
Mention of him at least can have, the King should remember the end of The Witcher 1.

Yenn is so gonna kick Triss' ass hahaha
I'm much more interested to learn what happended between the last Witcher 2 flashback (Geralt's exchange for Yennefer) and the beginning of Witcher 1 (Geralt running aways from the Hunt). We know Geralt became a Rider of the Hunt but that's all.
How did he became a rider? What did he do as a rider? How did he escape? I hope they tell us all this in Witcher 3.

Well, the reviews are told that Yennefer is found by Geralt in the prologue and she says the Emhyr has a proposal to him, perhaps the King also had one.

Sure, the King of the Hunt offered to let Yennefer go and Geralt had to become a Rider in exchange, but that doesn't really answer any of the other questions.

I'm sure thats guaranteed.

To search Ciri, I suppose.

Let's hope so. I wasn't really satisfied with the answers we got about the assassin who tried to kill Foltest at the end of Witcher 1.
I can imagine Geralt did some pretty bad things while he was a rider of the Hunt. I wonder if they go so far and tell the player that his character once murdered/enslaved/kidnaped children or whatever else the Hunt did with human children.

That won't go over well with any of his closest. Oof

Well I doubt he had a choice. We don't really know how it works, but I guess he was probably controlled by the King in some way
Hanged man tree? Is the same as shown in the trailers?

They are different. The hangend man tree from the flashback is south of the Jaruga in Nilfgaard. The hanged man tree in Witcher 3 is south of Novigrad.
Living Letho in your imports or dead?

This is my assumption.
Living Letho in your imports or dead?
In all my saves he stay alive. One of the achievements implies that will have a battle and he will attend, I really want to see it. And there are other also, I will not give details, but he can also participate.

Ofc alive. Letho is my Geralt's biggest bro and hopefully this time he will be a valuable ally against the Hunt.

Aye, Letho will be confirmed alive if I can help it in the start of TW3

Haven't read any of the story achievements (well except for the first, but I knew it anyways) but the trailers spoil pretty much if you watch them closely, so I guess the battle is
