Hah, the Grey Wardens were partially inspired by The Night's Watch funnily enough.

The Witchers would lose against both if you had them all at full strength, at least I'm saying that because of how low the total numbers of witchers are. Well, actually maybe they'd beat the Night's Watch. There's too many Wardens to beat though.

Witchers at full strength would kill a fuckload of Wardens but they would win on numbers. Witchers are very OP by DA standards. The only place the wardens have them beat is there are mages in the wardens.

In single combat however, I don't doubt that Geralt would be able to kill anyone in DA with relative ease. Aside from a fully leveled up arcane warrior or something stupid OP like that. The mage classes tend to be the most OP, so an Arcane warrior fully leveled after DAA or would probably beat him. Any warrior class would probably be fucked aside from Spirit Warrior. Rouge wouldn't stand a chance simply because they rely on speed and reflexes and they couldn't hope to match Geralt's because of his mutations.

dude no

I'm assuming people who haven't read the books will for sure want to bang her. It's very OOC for Geralt but it's hard to establish a character as a daughter figure when she's in her mid 20s and a 10/10. See Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite. Though I'm of the mind she was originally intended to be Booker's love interest but it was cut when they had to remake the entire game nine months or so before launch. This also coincides with her design change to a more conservative and less alluring outfit. Though they put it back in for the final, likely because many people complained about the change.

At anyrate, the original design is much more adult, while the newer one was much more mid teens.

A Witcher would be able to get past a DA Templar by using attacks not necessarily involving magical properties/qualities, yes?

A witcher would be able to get past a DA templar through conventional combat, yes. It's unlikely any templar would be able to keep up with one. Whether or no a templar's abilities would work on Witcher would be pretty esoteric information, because the rules of magic are somewhat different in the witcher universe. So who knows, either way a witcher likely wouldn't need to use signs to defeat a templar. Maybe if Gaider and Sapkowski sat down they could work it out.

How fast are Witchers? The first game said there was a human that killed multiple Witchers.

Asleep, from the back, and with poison, Yennefer said. By his reaction, she touched a nerve there. That said, Bonhart was indeed a very good fighter, but a witcher in his prime is out of a vanilla human's reach on a fair combat. Even Vilgefortz, who trounces Geralt in melee, is at the very least using an enchanted quarterstaff, so Geralt can't risk parrying cause it might break his sword.

Interesting quest. Wonder if there are consequences for letting the guy go--like hearing about continuous raids on transports or something.

Kinda cool to have Geralt's facial hair change between two scenes. Apparently it took awhile to get the Temerian soldier to the Nilfgaardian camp, haha!

Yeah it did happened, but most of those Witchers were unexperienced and still in the training. Witcher at it's best is pretty much a super soldier, they move extremely fast by the point where Geralt is described in the books that he moves so fast with his sword that people couldn't even see what he was doing. But then again he is considered as the greatest swordsman in the franchise.

I don't know, the quest seems kinda stupid actually :P That archer dude sits 100 steps [according to the in-game tracker] from the cart and he won't go there because of drowners? He has a freaking bow and he seems to be pretty proficient with it given what we see, ekhem. Did  he ran out of arrows hahaha?

Anyhow. I'm reaaaaaly impressed by the faces. They look amazing! That quest giver and Nilfgaardian soldier both had so much personality in their faces. One front tooth guy FTW! They look better than some of DA:I most important characters :P

Hence why Geralt says "hope you are a better rider than a liar." :D

But yes, agree on the facial expressions and details in general. Always a nice thing to have when a game looks good.

It definitely was a fetch quest, but I enjoyed that one.

It involved conversation with dialogue options, cinematic scenes, some investigation, combat and decision making. I think this is the right approach to minor quests.

Not going to lie, watching people complain about fetch quests is one of my top guilty pleasures.

It's just so good.

I wonder how long a Witcher 2 playthrough would take, if I try to do most of the quests...

Ah screw that, I'm just going to get a save of the internet. Iorveth path, involved with Triss, killed Sile, allowed Letho to walk. You know, the good stuff!

I don't mind a fetch quest if the person giving the quest manages to refer to someone else as a Fetcher :D

Geralt's senses are heightened to the point that he can hear people breathing from quite far away. 25 to 30 feet, his reflexes have a similar boost, he's also stronger and more agile because of them, and can regenerate. Witchers can obviously be killed, but it's usually because they screw up or are heavily outnumbered. It's very rare that someone can kill a witcher in single combat through skill alone.

The one person who actually managed to kill witchers through skill, Bonhart, is dead himself. He was also a maniac and a sociopath, so, well there's that.
