  Hi. First let me thank Bioware for the amazing work done in DAI. The videos seem incredible and I am just couting down the time to get my hands on it .

 

   Well I´ve been thinking and wouldn´t be nice if instead of a black screen for character creation we have a an animated/ "live" background. Some wind wind and landscapes Someting more than just a black screen.

 

   With the power of the new engine in you hands it would be totally cool to see, for example, a dragon flying in (kinda close to the character we´re supposed to be creating) to see the physics of the hair among other things? It would be totally awesome and would take the game from 10 to 100!

I swear I have seen a game do something like this that came out in the last couple years I just can't remember which one.

 

One thing I do hope for since that Raptr Q&A is we can choose to have both scars and tattoos if we could have the scars placed AFTER the tattoos or before the tattoo if we want.

 

Like, imagine a person with a tattoo on their arm and then they get a nasty cut on it that requires stitches.  It'll show once it heals.  OR, think of someone that has a surgery scar and they get a tattoo to cover it.

with various different backgrounds and lighting would be handy. The character creator in Bioware games always screws me over in looks.

Agreed. I'm tired of getting a skin tone that is not the one I wanted because of the dark CCC.

Having an alternating background via a button we can press might be best.  Click the button and you can select a variety of backgrounds from black to white to grey to a grassy plain or a dark candle lit room, etc.  Each background would then come with different lighting.  Seems they're doing some character creator work with adding hair styles so maybe alternate backgrounds/lighting could be added as well?

They said somewhere that there's is different lighting options... I think it was that q&a recently....
