You know I have wondered we know the Warden/Hawke has vanished but I wonder why. I know that Alistair has Dragon Blood like Maric and thats a game changer so why not capture Alistair instead of the Warden/Hawke it makes no sense.

But the fact is that The Warden/Hawke are more powerful than Alistair possibly even Maric and that is not affected by your Race/Class/Sex and I think this needs to be addressed in DAI if they were captured by the Big Bad then the reasons can be revealed then.

My theory is that the Warden/Hawke has something more powerful than Dragons Blood flowing in there veins something like The Blood Of A Hero/Hero's Blood that way their vanishing will be more than a stupid plot device.

What do you guys think?

God I hope not, Warden and Hawke being some divine chosen ones would be cheesy as hell.

One of the things I've liked about DA so far compared to other fantasy settings is the protagonists are just the right people in the right place at the right time. Especially when you consider that all the potential Wardens exist, regardless of your chosen character.

I hope that in beforehand we get to select what happened during our playthroughs and in the game we'll discover that the Warden is still dealing with Nobles in Ferelden and Hawke is somewhere on a boat.

They don't have to be special for me. Heck, I don't even need closure as I gave them one myselves. xP

EDIT: wow my Dutchness is really showing in the grammar here... oh well.

I think people are reading WAY too much into the whole "Alistair's distant ancestor was a Reaver" thing. (>_>)

Flemeth and Morrigan are stealing heroes away so they can create their own all star teams and have a giant super smash bros type brawl.

God, I'm so sick of people asking these idiotic questions. The Warden and Hawke are already world-changing heroes in their chapter of history, is that not enough for you? You need some super-special magic awesome trait that makes them even more super-special awesome than they already are?

Just for this, I hope the Warden and Hawke both turn out unceremoniously dead by the events of Inquisition just to stop this endless stream of questions from people trying to make them even more super-special awesome Mary Sues than they already are.

Nah, I like my heroes to be heroes not because "it's their destiny", "they're the chosen one" or "they have been bestowed an ancient power" but because they are just normal people who just so happen to be ****ing badass. A person doesn't become a hero because they are "the chosen one" or are lucky enough to have some super powered blood, a person becomes a hero because of the choices they make and the actions they take (that's my perspective anyway).

Agreed. And they will probably die in the super awsome explosion at the start.

How they can die in explosion during conference founded by peoples who stated they disappeared?

Not mention there is great chance depending on character they wouldn't be there in first place...

Because anything can be shoehorned in for the greater good of the plot, if, written well.

And what is greater good of the plot because it seems like pointless killing off old pc's that leave plot holes.

Well, it would give them an end once and for all.

And why they should have an end they are player characters in rpg game so no point in killing them same as it is no point in killing every other character after story.
