You cannot use any characters from previous games, but you can use Cole if you haven't finished Asunder.

 

Favorite: Tie between Sera, Iron Bull, and Josephine

 

Least Favorite: Cole.

Though I am uncomfortable with it, my favorite character thus far is the Vivienne. I have always viewed Spencer like characters as realistic and honest, attributes that I admire. I am a mage buff, so I expect to have many conflicts with this character. 

 

Least favorite, and has been for a while now, the Sera. Her description makes her seem like another run of the mill, cookie cutter, one trick pony rogue. I don't like it.

Most: Toss up between Solas, Dorian, and the Iron Bull

Least: Blackwall, we don't really have much on him, do we?

Favorite: toss up, Iron bull or Sera

Might end up being my favorite after we actually get to see the nuances of his character: Solas

Least favorite: Blackwall, I guess. Don't really know enough.

As far as the companions go....

 

Favorite: Cassandra, Sera, Solas, Cole, and Vivienne

 

Least favorite: Blackwall, Dorian, Iron Bull, and Varric

Most: Iron Bull. He sounds like a fun guy and someone who it would be funny t o be around. Also his past intrigues me.

Least: I'm thinking Sera ATM. Partially because she doesn't seem to like sacrificing something in the short term even if you gain more in the long term. But also because she doesn't seem to like Cole at all seemingly purely because of what he is.
However I'd be lying if I said she wasn't winning me round with her accent .

Least favourite: Probably Vivienne.

But hey, a lot can change between now and launch.
Except for Sera's position. She's been my favourite since she was "that blonde elf girl", and she just keeps getting better!

Solas just seems like a hobo scrub to me.

I don't really dislike any of the characters, well maybe Sera as she strikes me as a bit self righteous and moralistic.

 

My favorite at moment is Vivienne, she appears to be very pragmatic and level headed, i still like Cassandra and Josephine though.

 

And last but most definitely not lest Varric, hes just 100 shades of awesome .

Am I a bad person if I say Cole does'nt sound appealing to me as a companion?I would've prefered him as NPC who helps from the shadows or something.
