Favourite:That would be Cole,simply because i really like unusual companions.Shale,Legion,Javik and Mathras where my favourites in their respective games too.^^

 

Least favourites:As someone who not only loathes and is disgusted by any form of shallowness,but also hates everything Orlais is and stands for,it should come to no surprise that it is Vivienne.Im just so irritated by her character that i cant even properly express it.

I sincerely hope that whe dont have to recruit her.....or if we have to,that we can at least tell her to beat it as soon as possible.

Favorite: Toss up between Blackwall and Solas. Both of them seem like the types of characters that I really end up liking.

Least Favorite: Vivienne. She seems a bit too vain for my tastes and I'm also thinking that she'll be too ruthless for me, since she's had to maneuver the intrigues of Celene's court.

I don't tend to like coldly pragmatic, self-serving characters usually.  Right now the characters who seem to care about the 'little' people most and act from the heart are Sera/Blackwall/Varric.

 

Least favourite based on the description - Vivienne.  That said, if she's entertaining to be around, she may win me over.  I'm open to that.

Favourite is Cole, initially it was Iron Bull til the whole #ridethebull crap now he's fallen down

 

Least favourite, probably Dorian, nothing about him interests me, from his look to his personality and everything in between

Favorite: Dorian and Cole. Dorian is very attractive and Im interested in his Tevinter history, since Cole is a spirit Im curious to see how he behaves and develops.

Least favorite: Im just not that drawn in by Josephine at the moment.

Least favorite: Blackwall. He sounds like a typical dutiful warrior type. Though I'm hoping to be wrong and probably will be. I thought the same of Aveline and she is one of my favorite DA characters.

all time favorites are cassandra and varric from the lineup, but they are returning characters.

 

New characters:  Iron Bull and Sera are my favorites, Solas and Viviene are my least favorite.

Least favorites: Blackwall and Vivienne. We've met grey wardens before, so Blackwall doesn't really interest me that much and Vivienne seems like a re-hash of Morrigan.

 

We'll see what happens in Octobre.

I can't choose one so I'll go by class:

 

FAVOURITE- Warrior- Iron Bull, he seems hilarious, yet with a serious side too. 

                      Mage- Solas. He seems the most interesting. Although Dorian is my new husband. I just think Solas sounds more interesting xD

                      Rogue- Cole. I liked the character in Asunder and can empathise with someone trying to find their place in the world, and not really understanding who or what they are. I just hope we can give the poor kid a helping hand, like he's so adamant to do for others (No knives though!)

                      Advisor- Josephine. She seems like she'll be the least hassle! And apparently she's like our biggest fan so she won't hate me. Hopefully.

 

LEAST FAVOURITE- Warrior- Blackwall. I have nothing against him, he just seems dull compared to Iron Bull and Cassandra.

                                  Mage-  Vivienne. She seems like a cold-hearted ****** who'd step over our corpse while it's still warm just to get nearer the top. Don't like her at all. If her ulterior motives clash with the good of the Inquisition, her head can decorate a spike outside Skyhold. If she's willing to give a  little, and doesn't affect the greater good, she can survive and I hope I'm proven wrong.

                                  Rogue- Sera. She seems a bit naive. The whole "what's right now, not the greater good" thing smacks me as a bit selfish. Sure, you have to  hurt a few people to make things right in the long run. So what? That's life. She sounds like she needs to grow up a bit and realise life isn't always sunshine and rainbows. And she apparently hates selfish people- so a little hypocritical maybe? It's less selfish to teach a man to fish than to just give him a fish because he's hungry now.

                                  Advisor- Leliana. She's too close to the Divine and I'm fairly anti-Chantry. I have a feeling we won't get on as much as in Origins. My Amell!Warden was willing to let her religious doctrine slide because she didn't really try and force it upon him and everyone's entitled to their beliefs, but I think she'll be more vocal in Inquisition.

I'd go by interesting or not interesting at this point, as we don't really know them personally but excluding Cole (I've read Asunder) Cassandra, Varric, Leliana, Morrigan, and Cullen...

Most Interesting: Josephine, Vivienne, Dorian, Solas
I like Mages and political types. The three very different backgrounds between the Mage companions will make for some interesting conversation.

Apathetic (kinda): Sera, Iron Bull
Both of them seem to be rehashes of things we've seen before, but i do want to know more about life in The Qun and the friends of Red Jenny

Least Interesting: Blackwall
Another Grey Warden. Personality-wise I (and my Inquisitor) will get along great with him but he doesn't represent something new. We've seen Grey Wardens before, we've BEEN a Grey Warden before. Hopefully he'll shed some light on the nefarious deeds the Wardens seem to be up to (looking at you Janeka/Larius)

Favorites so far: Probably Blackwall and Iron Bull. Grizzled veterans, lacking the naivety of youth. I keep hoping for another Wrex type character, someone with age and experience and a sharp wit. Aka, past all the drama and angst of youth. I dig Solas too. I can commiserate with the desire to be left alone.  

 

Least Favorites: Sera. Pretty much everything in her description indicates a person that I would not like very much.

Favorite: Dorian and Solas. A snarky guy that's willing to go against what's expected and a reclusive guy that thinks everything is complicated. Based on the info we have, these guys seem to have some significant psychological overlap with me.  I'm curious to see how they come across in game.

Least: Cole.  Will have to see what I think of him in game.  The prospect of him bantering with Solas about the Fade is interesting though.

Least Favorite: ummm possibly Cole but it depends. I won't know till I play but I usually like Bioware companions at least a little bit.

My favorite would have to be Iron Bull, although with Cassandra and Blackwall on the team, he's got some fierce competition. 

 

My least favorite would be a tie between Solas and Cole. Not that I dislike either of them, but Solas just doesn't do much for me, and I maintain that Cole would have worked better as an NPC than a companion.

 

Note that I'm not ranking Vivienne on the list at all, as calling her a "least favorite" implies that she's still a favorite in some way.

Top favourite: I think an tie between Iron bull and Varric. I already have story with Varric, so he was an easy pick, while Iron bull seems pretty interesting, with the whole "living outside the Qun and seeing the world with an new light" thing.

 

Least favourite; Cassandra and Cullen. I'll take my hat off they actually make me like either of them in this game.

Favorite: Solas, Vivienne, and Cassandra. Honorable mentions go to Josephine and Sera, though for Sera we've already seen bits which influence my decision.

Least Favorite: Blackwall, Cullen

 

It's weird, I'm terribly excited for Vivienne exactly because of the reasons that most people here have listed. She seems so powerful and in control and articulate, she can easily shoot you down with eloquent words and it'll be the best thing ever.
