Those of you who like Sera now... You might want to do things differently than the demo.

You better make sure you do things differently than whatever caused the demo's outcome, because Sera is killed in the demo. Posting just in case anyone missed this detail. This also fully confirms that party members can actually die, and not just at the ending like ME2&3. This is going to be an intense game if party members you really like can die unexpectedly to a choice you made. If you doubt she died, check her wide open eyes. People in fiction don't faint with their eyes open.

I cannot WAIT to take Cole on this op.

It'll be nice to see your opinion of him change when he uses his nature to not only prevent the deaths of others, but to expedite the entire process ;)

You are changing what she said to fit your purpose. David Gaider said that scene isn't what people think it is. which means that most likely she isn't dead. keep twisting other peoples words all you want but it doesn't change the fact that your only evidence is your own personal opinion on what happened.

Don't most people think that she can't be dead?

(For the most part I enjoy seeing the discussion in this thread, btw.  /eats a donut)

I view his words as meaning that we shouldn't jump to any conclusions.

Oh absolutely.  It's a small sliver of the game and context is missing.

It's a challenging thing about RPGs I find, is trying to show off the story and characters without just spoiling the content outright.

How hard is it to come to the forums, see all the speculation and have your only course of action be to bite your tongue?

Not that hard actually :D

Sometimes I go "awwwww" but most of the times I like to see the hypotheses.

"Ooo that one is pretty close."
"Whoa where did taht one come from"

"Hahaha everyone is jumping on that poster and they're actually right!"

"Warmer.... warmer.... warmer.... COLDER COLDER aww you lost it I think"

:)

How's about we establish "okay well that is a thing and now we'll move on" because that'd be amazingly wonderful.

It's less fun to go "Warmer... warmer... warmer... colder..." towards wondering the semantics over an argument.  I much prefer reading the analysis of what people think will happen in our game and the varying thought processes behind it!

Oh, I also like "Wow they had like 47 completely off the wall hall, absurd ideas... and some how ended up with the right conclusion!" :D

From what i see in this thread, i assume Cole's purpose in the story of DAI is to fix "wrong" outcomes by reviving certain characters if they have died during the story?

I probobly just come too far with assumptions, but my logic never failed me before.

Is this because of my post? :P
