You are changing what she said to fit your purpose. David Gaider said that scene isn't what people think it is. which means that most likely she isn't dead. keep twisting other peoples words all you want but it doesn't change the fact that your only evidence is your own personal opinion on what happened.

I don't know what to think from the scene and I'm going to wait till I play the game. That way I can know exactly what is happening In Redcliff

Oh absolutely. It's a small sliver of the game and context is missing.
It's a challenging thing about RPGs I find, is trying to show off the story and characters without just spoiling the content outright.

@Saberchic : Demon was last through the door? And the very ending bit was extremely quick and a cut away. That's not much of a reason for it 'not' being the case. What I was saying was the 2 of them didn't get pushed back into the room like I would expect in the 'time it took' for that scene to play out. So either they got insta-killed or a spell knocked em out, could of hit the bull first and they moved on, demon grabbed her, did the spell and tossed her aside as they passed the door.
Like I said, it was just wild speculation and the only thing I can think of for why they lost so quick. Also why we wouldn't of seen the bull. Could just as easily of been arrows or something that took him out immediately or something I dunno.

How hard is it to come to the forums, see all the speculation and have your only course of action be to bite your tongue?
Ok I think the greatest and best explanation is Sera isn't really unconscious and is just in pain from being choked by the demon and thrown aside and seeing only a few frames shown nothing and I'm honnestly more worried about Iron bull right now from not seeing any sign of him

The only guy who did was someone who agreed with me. I personally haven't once tried to claim I have any hard proof.
1) It's set up for a demo. They did not legitimately play through the game to get to that point in the story. Don't take the level shown to mean anything at all.
2) What you're seeing will very much make sense when you play the game.

This is true. It very well could be as you say. We just won't know until the game. I just happen to believe, like Maria pointed out earlier, that Bioware was showing us a worst case scenario for Redcliffe. It makes for a lot of drama, as I think we all can see from this thread.

You asked for the link. I never said it proves my idea I only said it could mean your idea is wrong. For all we know Sera is only pretending to be dead and jumps up to save everyone during the "all is lost" moment. The demo ends with that very dramatic cut off so we have no idea how it ends. Oh no doubt its a worst case scenario. But it's also Redcliff which is mage rebellion stuff and it's been stated the mage/templar conflict is something we decide early in the game. Only reason i think its weird, complete fail or otherwise they'd kill off 2 companions and 1 of the 3 advisors. Just a little odd is all. Even if they aren't dead though, I have no doubt in my mind Leliana is gonna be SUPER pissed about the whole outcome of your Quizzy total failure to not be a sucky leader in making choices =P
It's a pretty big assumption that Sera is dead in those pictures. I mean yeah, she COULD be dead, but she could easily be unconscious. It could go either way.
But to treat that picture as to say for definite that party members can die in any quest at any time is a bit ridiculous. Let's not let our excitement overtake our judgem- ha! Who am I kidding? BioWare forums, amirite?
