Well that was a waste of your time, I never tried to say otherwise.
you kept jumping down peoples throats about how nobody was giving evidence to disprove you how is that not saying otherwise.

Not that hard actually
Sometimes I go "awwwww" but most of the times I like to see the hypotheses.
"Ooo that one is pretty close."
"Whoa where did taht one come from""Hahaha everyone is jumping on that poster and they're actually right!"
"Warmer.... warmer.... warmer.... COLDER COLDER aww you lost it I think"
*off-topic*
can I just say that this is the first thread where I have seen a Bioware employee actually quote me in a post. I feel all tingly inside right now.
OP I think you're over-analysing this.

Only because everyone was acting like they had evidence to give. I merely asked for that supposed evidence.
How's about we establish "okay well that is a thing and now we'll move on" because that'd be amazingly wonderful.
It's less fun to go "Warmer... warmer... warmer... colder..." towards wondering the semantics over an argument. I much prefer reading the analysis of what people think will happen in our game and the varying thought processes behind it!
Oh, I also like "Wow they had like 47 completely off the wall hall, absurd ideas... and some how ended up with the right conclusion!" ![]()

Those faking tend to close their eyes, generally eyes will stay open, they have experienced mix's of this. Just pointing that out there.
Not going to say she is dead or alive its possible for either.
OP I think you're over-analysing this.
I was gonna say the same.
Sure, she could be dead i suppose. But her having her eyes closed isn't a guarantee to that, as others have said many people have their eyes open when they get knocked out. Despite what people seem to believe.
Nah. It's just a flesh wound.

Im bad, im going to have to try recreate the events leading to this take to see what the hell happens now lol
I wonder if the venatoris cant afford to buy trousers, or you literally catch them with their pants down?

I don't think she's dead. Your companions die all the time in combat. And then at the end of the fight, they usually pop back up and heal up. Companions don't usually die unless it's part of a quest line for them to die, like violating Andraste's Ashes, and having to kill Leliana, or choosing to kill Wynne in the mage quest. Or killing Zevran. You have two chances to kill him, one when he first tries to assassinate you, and at the end when the Crows show up, if you don't have his friendship high enough, he'll try to assassinate you again, so you're forced to kill him.
I wonder if the templars are so strapped for cash that they cant afford to buy trousers, or you literally catch them with their pants down?
That's a Venatori, not a Templar.
While i want there to be consequences for actions in this game... it just seems stupid if she (and possibly Iron Bull) were to die here... this doesn't seem like a final mission (I doubt Bioware would show a final mission in an in-depth demo).. SO having companions die, just in a mission, and clearly the player has zero control over that, there was no option to decide how Iron Bull and Sera would act is going to create an environment where people will be unwilling to take there favourite followers out at all.. because randomly the game can just decide 'Ok they will die and theres nothing the player can do'...
And really... killing 2 companions off screen? That just doesn't seem like Bioware's style
In my opinion sara could be stunned by the demon or with some sort of poison with her eyes still being open or it could be a glitch!
It's possible she's dead. It's also possible she's alive.
Schrödinger's Sera?
Should have read the whole thread through before posting. It's just that person's post made me think of it immediately. ^-^

If the mechanic that companions can die during certain missions is in the game it will make for interesting scenarios. It will also make people reload save after save in order to get things right which could defeat the whole purpose of what you are trying to accomplish.
If Sera is dead here, I feel as though this could be more towards the end of the game or it is a completely worst case scenario based on previous actions in the game. Think of the Tali situation in ME3, if you don't do things right before that Reaper battle, there is nothing you can do to stop what happens from uploading the code. Same thing with the Virmire survivor. It wouldn't be out of place for a companion to be killed anymore.
Again, not knowing the full context makes the scene odd because if she is dead, you have no way of knowing because in that part of the demo, you can't go and check on them. Dorian tells you, "If you move we all die." A portal opens up and presumably you go through it. That would mean that you leave people behind. If Sera were to be dead here, the IB would be as well and so would Leliana.
I hope it wouldn't be the case just because it would be really spoilery in my opinion to show this so far out.
Not being a fan of Sera, it will be unlikely that she would be here when this occurs,, and hoping that Varric escapes.
Eh, i just always thought she was using "Feign Death" pretty useful before
I cannot WAIT to take Cole on this op.
You can actually not recruit cole in the first place. Anyway it seems kinda arbitrary as well as game changing that they would kill two of your companions off randomly, especially considering that Cassandra is likely very important to the story so she couldn't really die
is that a diaper.
is that a diaper.
She just looks dead because they didn't animate her face for that very short scene. It happened a lot in ME3 w/ Shepard (whenever s/he fell down or was punched in the face) as well as others and it's a corner I wish they had not cut.

I remember Thane's death. He was still breathing and blinking--a bit disconcerting to be honest.
