I know it's a long shot but does anybody else want to see her in this game or at least in a future game? I really am intrigued about her since reading the comics. The thought of having a big family reunion with her, Morrigan and Flemeth just seems too much badass to fathom. Besides, I find her attractive. Since we got Kate Mulgrew as Flemeth, Claudia Black as Morrigan, she would need a top tier voice actress. Do you guys want too see her in DAI or in a future DA game?

I'd love to see Yavana in DAI. I really want to see her interact with Morrigan. The snark would be astronomical.

I have read the comics but reading the link she sounds cool . She isn`t wearing anything less than Morrigan did .

Considering over 95% of women in Thedas wear modest clothing, I'm going with no they do not hate modest clothing.

As for her being dead, if there is one thing the Witch of the Wilds family has taught me it is that whenever it appears someone's killed them, they didn't.

I wouldn't mind having her be in it but her base is in Antiva where we won't be going. the best bet would be to see her as an antagonist in a Morrigan side mission in my opinion

I originally planned to have one of my inquisitors based off Yavana.
Her name was going to be Moranna or Marzanna (named for the Slavic goddess of winter and death), being a direct/clever responder, and utilising Ice, entropy and necromancy magic

She's from a comic the one medium (sub 18) that is for even more horny teenagers than video games.

I loved Yavana from the first panel we saw her so here's hoping she learned Flemeth's tricks and isn't really dead. I agree it would be pretty great to see her and Morrigan together.

Yes I would love for her to be in DA:I, I found her to be one of the most interesting characters in the comics, and was pretty sad about what happened with her, as she was bringing up quite an interesting plot related to the dragons, which I hope will be brought up in one of the games, if not this one.

 

Do I think she will be in the game?

 

No, aside from the whole possibly being dead thing, which I hope isn't the case, I don't see her being in this game. It's just a feeling I've got, also considering they couldn't include Maevaris Tilani in the game, I don't think they will be including Yavana (assuming she is alive) for similar reasons.

I think it would be cool if Yavana was in games where Alistair is dead and not in games where Alistair is alive.  But my guess is she will at most be mentioned but never appear.

What's wrong with hating modest clothing? 

She lives in a swamp, you're lucky she's wearing clothing at all 

 

As to whether or not she'll appear in the game... hard to say, but I doubt she's truly dead. Would be fun to see her interact with Morigan and/or Flemeth though.

Unless it was her plan to get Alistair to the other side of the world so that she can coerce him to bring back the dragons, knowing that Alistair would never agree to it and will result into Alistair killing her, which will allow her to fake her own death giving her the opportunity to disappear.

 

It's the perfect escape plan.

 

Edit: I forgot that if she comes back, she'll be a romance option lol

Well, if Bioware keeps making DA games, maybe Yavana would be a nice companion or NPC idea for a DA game set in Antiva. Maybe a leader for the Thedosian version of PETA, trying to stop dragon hunting for good

 

And why do people assume that just because Alistair killed her she won't come back? It's Flemeth's daughter! Killing her mother and little sister didn't work as well as we thought, did it?

I mean if Alistair is dead in your play through....Yavana certainly isn't dead...

She's dead, but I would like to know more about the witch sisterhood. I love her quote when Alistair says all the witches do in manipulate and lie, "That is our craft not our purpose. Mankind destroys without understanding, yet I preserve."  I want to know more about this.
