The default Warden is dalish

All the real Wardens were Dwarves.

Wait are you saying this is what you think is the default history, what you want as the default history or what?
Because I can tell you now, the default warden was Dalish.

I always liked playing the Cousland Warden. It had a sort of Game of Thrones vibe to it. The struggle for political power, betrayal, and all that good stuff. Plus you have a shot of sweet revenge near the end of the game.

That said the City Elf was enjoyable as was both Dwarven Origins.

So what is this Thread exactly about?

BTW, isn't it obvious that the Warden was Qunari? I mean, come on now...

Cousland Warden was the best origin, IMO.

I'm betting on the first option.

I remember being pleasantly surprised when I found out they'd gone with female Dalish elf instead of male human noble as the pre-set that would carry over from DA2 to become the default for Inquisition. In hindsight it makes sense since its the one with the least baggage for new players - no Old God Baby and the Warden is dead. I was still expecting human male, though.

Well, I remember seeing a video which stated that Bioware had a canon version of events which they used when writing the novels and other supplementary materials.

If I remember correctly, this canon was that the Warden was a Dalish Elf who put Alistair on the throne and sacrificed themselves to defeat the Archdemon

I could be misinformed, however.

I like the HN story the most and wish it was the default story but it's not. It's the female Dalish Warden.

Mentioning Game of Thrones = Instant like.
