What type of Dragons' are there in DA: I? Are fire Dragons immune to fire etc.? If anyone knows the answers please share.

Nothing specific, but Cameron Lee mentioned in AngryJoe interview that there are currently 20 dragons (or less, not sure) in the game but that can be changed in final version of the game.

 

Personally I'd like to see more 'Queen of the Blackmarsh' type of dragons, I think that was the only fight in Awakening where I felt like it was actually challenging and fun.

Are they all "fire" dragons? or do we have a chance to see "ice" dragons etc.?

Good question, also are they all the same?

I remember in the interview they said that the dragons all look different in term is colour e.g. Spots on wings

But I'm wondering if there is actual variety with the dragons

e.g maybe a design from origins or da2 dragons cause all I've seen are the iron bull versions, not that's bad mind you, just that it'd be cool to have another look

The Archdemon used spirit damage - a tactical difference if nothing else.

Well they are large horned winged female and territorial, probably with litters of dragonlings and harems of drakes around to pick off your hp before you even reach them.

Well, if you watched the demo, the dragon they fought was called "Ferelden Frostback."

i think you need to check that last one, but anyway, it is said that each dragon encounter will feel unique, but the dragons will have similar patterns in their attacks (i.e. raising their front leg before kicking with it.)  They've already said that they will have different breath attacks and each fight will be different.  The demo they fought a ferelden frostback in the hinterlands, i imagine the dragons will change their abilities and tactics with the environment and places we visit....  from some early videos we know we fight one in the desert which i presume is the western approach.

They said there are Ice Breath dragons, but breeds? All we know is the Ferelden Frostback Dragon.
