It is a simple question I have. Like Dragon age origins, is there a character creator for DA Inquisition which we can download and pre-create our inquisitor?
DA Inquisition Character Creator?

Nothing is released right now, I'm not sure if one is gonna get released at all.
I certainly hope so! But right now we simply don't know.

One of the devs (Mark Darrah) said during the Raptr Q&A that there were no plans (yet) for a demo or pre-release CC.

I think the big pre-release for this one is The Keep.

Thanks. Too bad there is no CC for it. I would have loved to mess around with my character and create a badass looking mage or rogue.

The OP is talking about a pre-release CC.

Of course there will be an ingame cc. But will there be a pre release CC? I certainly hope so.But according to that article that was mentioned earlier, there won`t be it seems.

I hope they show it off soon though (or at least before release). I hope it's more detailed than DAO/DA2

It's not likely that a pre release CC will be available.

They've said this is the most in depth and detailed character creator they have created so I'm excited for it. I can't wait to create my Inquisitor!

There are no plans for a CC acordding do Raptr Q&A. Such a shame, I was really hoping to have some nice screenshots of my Inquisitors to pique my imagination.

yeah. Somehow lately ever since ME3 Bioware has really learned how it should let people down sometimes. ME3 was a great game but only after its extended cut DLC it became great. Before that, there were a lot of ambiguity nin the game.

The fact that B-Ware can't or won't release a CC is really lame and its all because they are afraid of leaks are you telling me you can't release a barebones CC for the fans to tinker with.
I think it is funny that now we have all our Companions/Li's"Minus 2" revealed and there are still 2 months before DAI is released what can B-Ware really have to tide the fans over until Oct 7th.
There are 3 possible options that I can think of at this point and they are
1.The Remaining Specializations Details
2.Multiplayer Announcement/Reveal
3.The Keep being opened up
But a fully fleshed out CC to tide me over until Oct would be awesome it wont happen but a guy can dream right

I wonder why a CC demo wouldn't be possible for them.
I can see why they wouldn't do a gameplay demo as they often misrepresent a game (especially rpgs), but I don't think much would be lost by just doing a CC demo. But I'm not a dev or marketing.
Maybe it has something to do with the Frostbite engine? It doesn't belong to Bioware so maybe they can't just randomly give a free copy of something made in that engine?
The DAO engine was Bioware's right?

Resources. In order to give us a CC demo they would have to spend extra money on something I don't believe it would increase sales. It is fan service to gamers who have already decided to buy the game and because of that I don't really see the point.
It is all about tiding someone over. I don't see why this needs to be done. I think it is about patience of today's gamers who seem unable to wait for a game to come out. A game company needs to keep them occupied while I think everyone should keep themselves occupied while waiting on a game. For a business it makes no sense to keep people who have already pre-ordered your game occupied. There is no sound reason to even release any type of "playable" demo.

I suppose, but I did hear a lot of people were swayed by DAO's CC demo. Though I guess that was before DA had a fanbase that would buy the game regardless...

I remember in one of the E3 interviews or during BW Raptr session, they say that there won't be a seperate CC. Instead they are planning on relasing CC video.

I hope they can include something like the mirror from the black emporium. I hated putting all my time into making my wardens, and finally start the level, and forgot to change the eye color or something

Yeah on the Q&A I'm pretty sure either one of the lead devs confirmed that they were at least releasing a video detailing or rather "We'll at least do a video for sure" So Hopefully thay will suffice. Though a pre-released cc would be even better :/

It would have been far better for a number of reasons. One of which would have been us getting more familiar with the graphics of the ame and how detailed characters are or can be with the new game engine. And for some I am sure they are itching to see how they Qunari looks like.

Silence!
Bioware must give into my every whim and demand by releasing CC and answer my long list of romance questions!
Only then will I be sated, by which point I will not buy the game because everything has been spoiled...
(Who am I kidding I'd still buy the game even if the ending was revealed

I wish there would be one but I'd be happy just seeing them go through some options in a video demo.
